Two years later

Naerys gives birth to a son named Baelon, A boy with big eyes of lilac, silver-gold hair, and skin so pale it neared translucent. He was like her, ill, weak, and his lilac eyes always looking on feverishly. He was small, with rounded shoulders like his eldest brother, his body was greatly skinny, and his stomach could not bare the food within it and always brought back up what ever he swallowed.

He was like her. Beautiful yet frail

Aemon nurtures his son as best he can, sits by his side as he lays confined to his bed as his mother did when she was small, but he was jealous as he watched children run and play. His aunt Rhaena read him the seven pointed stars whenever he was feeling lonely or Jaehaerys tells him the tales and names of the dragons of the past.

Jaehaerys had become quite lonely himself. Daeron had gone to dragonstone with his family, Daenaerys to Dorne with her husband Maron Martell. It made the king wonder what would come of his son. It made the King feel as if the loss of his wife had shattered his family like glass against stone.

"You left me alone," he whispers to her as if she could hear or wishing she was here besides him as his queen. "Baelon is alone, Jaehaerys is alone."

"I don't know what I'm going to do," his fingers twisting the ring on his finger quietly. "I want them to find their destiny themselves but I fear they never will, that they will be forgotten."

Aemon sits through the night without sleep. Staring through darkness at nothing. He was heartbroken, his body had aged quicker with the stress of loss, and the golden of his hair vanished and remained silvery. He was no longer the man he once was. The prayers he says now burn with meaning, happiness had faded away along with his soul, leaving a bitter numbness behind. The king couldn't even eat properly anymore.

He never stopped mourning, and never will.

She was his gentle dragon, the love of his life, and everything he's ever wanted and needed. Together they'd promised to runaway together when they were smaller, to live in essos and build their family there. But they never did. "We promised we would runaway together," he whispered as tears filled his eyes.

"But you've runaway without me, my gentle dragon."

(Last chapter 😭😭😭😭 i hope you enjoyed my book runaway gentle dragon. I'm thinking of making a new book that gets into the life Baelon and making a series or something like that.)
