I lay in bed, simply watching tv, drawing, writing, and playing on my phone. There's not much to do. Thankfully aim getting released in an hour. This leavss me one day till Braydon comes from the pack. He should be ready to leave now. Im a nervous wreck, Ive even debated on running away, but thatll do nothing but cause trouble for everybody else. Like I keep saying, it's no time to be selfish. All this crap Im doing is to make the two species come together, peacefully. Kaybe one day there won't be any differences left.

My mother has been visiting me at least once every six hours, even at night. She told me that my father has been scentenced to twenty years in jail. She didn't tell me on what charges that was for, since shooting me couldn't have landed him that much alone. Oh well, one day Ill know. I have been wondering what it's going to be like when he gets out. Will I have a family? What about a job? Will I even be happy? I have no idea and at this point, I cant even guess.

A knock on the door catches my attention and I look over, wondering who's there. My mother just left and she didn't leave anything. The nurses also dont need to see me until later. "Come in?" I say, it ended uo sounding more like a question. Better not be something stupid. Something in my attitude has changed. I seen to be angered easily now, which I dont like. It's something I should control.

The door opens and I see a familiarly tall boy and girl walk in. The Jefferson twins that went to school with me before I left. They always kept to themselves and people thought they were always creepy and such. I didn't care much for them, not my cup of tea. I wonder what business they have with me.

"H-hey," Chelsea stutters as she stands by the door, "we were wondering if we could talk to you." She says, a small smile on her face. Her brother nods. I don't think Ive heard his voice once. It's crazy how secretive they are.

"Sure," I say, focusing as they come closer to my hospital bed. Derrek sits in a chair while Chelsea sits on the bed.

She coughs and starts speaking, "We think you're brave for going with the wolves. Not because they're scary, but because of all the backlash from both sides," she says with admiration, then she turns to her brother, urging him to talk.

He nods slowly, "Yes. We have heard the kids- and adults, talk about you as if you were a traitor. We would like you to know that if you want a friend or two, we are here. We know what it's like and it's honestly depressing," he has little emotion as he speaks. His voice is smooth and pleasing. I love the soundd of it. I just want tok hear him keep talking and talking.

I smile, "I appreciate it so much you guys. Thankfully I havent been around to hear the rumors," I tell them. After all, Ive been at the pack house most of the time. And I bet Ill be going back there some time.

Chelsea grins, "That's good to hear. Would you like to get lunch with us when you get out?" She asks me, checking her phone for a brief moment before putting it down. Probably checking the time.

I shake my head, "Sorry, I have to get a dress for an announcement along with the alpha," I tell them. I dont think it should be kept much of a secret since it's going out to the whole world anyways. Just thinking about it makes my nerves shake wildly.

Chelsea is quiet for a momrnt before practially jumping, "We will go with you!" She shouts happily. "I havent been shopping in forever and I have a little money saved up just for this. I think having another girl with make it twice as fun," she says. She seems so different, I like it. Shy people can be so fun once you crack them open. I hope we can be friends, they dont seem so bad.

Derrek groans loudly, "We?" He says and his sister nods quickly. "Fuck man, you owe me some food now," he says, turning to look out the window. Well, that was a sudden change of pace.

"Im getting out-" I check the time real quick, "soon. The nurse should actually be coming soon," I say, "we could go shopping if youre willing to wait."

Chelsea nods, "Totes." We sits in the room before a nurse comes in and checks up on me. Soon enough Im out in a some old cloths that slightly smell. We head to the mall and start shopping, Derrek sticking will us the whole way, evening insulting his sister and giving me compliments. What a goof, but siblings are like that.

After a bit she buys some shirts and pants thatre one sale while I just get one thing- a white, lacy dress and white heels. Two things actually, but they work together so well. This meeting is proper amd I can go looking like a hobo, but I think I just broke my bank account severely.

Once that's done and over with, I think I can officially say Ive made a friend. We have some similar interests and hobbies as well as goals. She wants to help the wolves and our species to come together. She believes it's the right thing to do or one of the sides will corrupt the other.

We sit in the food court as Derrek eagerly shoves food down his throat. "Mother can't cook worth a shit, but this- this is amazing!" He says, still going. Damn that boy can eat. Once he finishes he has a few crumbs on his cheek. How did it get all the way over there?

"Derrek, you got something right here," I say, tapping the spot on my cheek where itd be. He shrugs and my eye twitches. This is going to bug me. I scoot across table and wipe it off. He bites down on my finger, then lets go, "I couldve gotten it," he tells me.

I roll my eyes and sit back down. "So, would you two like to come with me to the conference?" I ask them.
