I enter the alpha's office as he invites me in kindly. The guard opened the door for me and closes it behind me. "Take a seat, youre not in trouble," I nod, letting out a little breath. I take a seat across from him, a desk inbetween us. He sets his elbows on his desk, "So what do you think of this place so far?" He asks me, looking like a high school girl wanting to know all the gossip.

I smile lightly, folding my hands together. "Well, I like it here. It's an interesting community," I tell him. "It's very family orientated. A bit much for me and more than what any human is used to, that's a big difference. At first, I didnt feel welcome and I honestly still don't." My fingers play with eachother out of anxiousness.

The alpha nods understandingly, "I didnt expect anyone to welcome you. I have even heard about one of the maids harassing you. How did that go?" He asks, oddly interested in that case. Id ask how he found out, but I dont think itd be hard to pry it out, out of someone who overheard.

I sigh, "I think she was jealous because I was spending time with your son. I dont think she realized it was only for business though," I honestly tell him. That's how I saw it at least because she was talking as if we were a couple. A bit of a disturbing thought.

The alpha hums, thinking. "Alright. How do you think humans will react to your visit?" He asks, tapping his fingers avainst his desk, looking at me.

I take a moment to think of some good things, because knowing my species, theyre pretty mean and will find the bad in anything. "Uh- well, as of right now they arent very happy. You saw those guards and my dad, that's how most of the world feels right now. I just need to get them to understand that our species has a lot more in common tha  they think. There's nothing we can do to avoid interactions, so making the best of it is my goal," I say, everything being off the top of my head. That sounded more intelligent than I thought, I think.

The alpha gets up to look out his window as if in a movie. "Understandable. I have one final question," he turns back around as I raise an eyebrow, "what's your relationship with my son, Braydon?"

I choke on my spit and all the colour drains from my face. He thinks theres a relationship between us? No thank you. "Er- nothing. Im sorry, but where did you get that from?" I ask curiously, wondering if I am somehow seducing Braydon.

The alpha smiles, letting out a deep laugh, "It's not you, it's him. My son has been acting up, Im aware you know of his past. I only worry that youre a trigger. If you need help then please go to me or Denial," he says in an honest tone.

"Thank you," I say, standing up, giving him a small bow of respect. It's good to know that there are people here willing to help me.

"Youre welcome Alison. Anyways, I think Braydon is getting irritated of waiting. I can practically hear him cussing me out mentally," he chuckles.

I smile, leaving the office in peace. When I open the door, Braydon is standing there infront of me with a twitching eyebrow. Yup, irritated. He grabs my wrist and drags me away to hell knows where. After a couple minutes we suddenly appear in his room. He lets go of me and sits down on his bed, "So, what do you want to do?" He asks me.

I bite my lip, "Go to bed?" I say, but it sounded more like a question rather than an answer. I let out a small yawn, feeling extremely tired. Maybe it's the stress getting to me. That's one thing Ill be happy about when I get home, Ill finay be able to get sleep. I hope, at least.

"Nap here," he suggests, patting the bed beside him. "I wont bother you, I have some stuff to do anyways," he says, standing up. I nod, walking over to lay on his bed. His bed is so much more comfy than mine, the luxury of being an alpha bloodline. I assume he gets the best of the best without much hard work.

Braydon comes over and pulls the blanket over my shoulders, tucking me in like a child. I lightly blush, looking away. "Ill wake you up if you arent up before dinner," he says, leaving the room, making sure to shut the door quietly. I smile, silently thanking him.

A couple minutes later I feel myself start to doze off when I hear a knock at the door. This always happens when I want to sleep, fu- "Hey Alison, it's Denial," he says, opening the door. He leaves it open, walking towards me. "Hows it going?" He asks, sitting on the bed.

I rub my eyes, letting out a whine. "Everything is fine," I tell him. It's been a good day honestly, all the stress just stems from the fact Im here for a purpose.

He nods, "Well, that's good. I just came to tell you that you will be missed. I dont know if Ill get the chance to see you ever again after tomorrow," he says, patting my leg. He smiles, a sparkle in his eyes. I smile back, feeling a little better. Denial has been good to me, even though he did tell Braydon about that maid. "Yeah, Im sorru about tuay, but he is protective over you. I think she is down in the cells right now," he tells me.

"She shouldnt be," I say quickly after, "she didnt trust me and that's understandable," I tell him, feeling a bit sad. Its like me with the wolves, I have little trust in most of them except a few. One of them being a bit different from the others.

Denial grins, "You have a good heart. I know how you feel about most of us and I just want to thank you for sticking with your desision to stay." He reaches over and hugs me tightly.
