I knew that things were going to change when I decided to be an Idol, but I really never thought that it would be this bad. Not only do I have fans following me into the bathroom, but I have the press watching my every move too. I can't let my guard down at all.
The only time I can feel at peace is when I'm asleep. I couldn't help but smile as I remembered my last dream. Melody's lips were so soft.
"Earth to Sungjong" Hoya waved his hands in front of my face and I looked up in shock. "You alright?"
I chuckled a little as I remembered how Melody had done the same thing in my dream. "I'm fine" I smiled back at him.
"You sure?" he asked worriedly. "You seem a bit dazed."
"Really" I chuckled. "I'm fine" I replied as I got up off the floor. "I was just thinking about something."
"What?" he asked curiously.
"It wasn't anything important" I smiled.
"Ohh, OK" he nodded. "We're going to grab a bite to eat. You coming?"
I thought for a moment and then said "You guys go without me. I'm going to practice a bit more."
"OK" he responded. "Just don't overdo it. We don't want you getting hurt or sick."
"Ok" I smiled.
The guys all left and I started practicing the part of the choreography that had been giving me problems earlier. Once I had finally gotten the move down, I ran through the song a couple times before collapsing back on the floor exhausted.
"I wish I could see her again" I sighed to myself as I closed my eyes.

The next day at school was the same as before, Brittany and her gang still trying to find a weakness in me to make fun of. "You really should give this song a chance" she sweetly sang. "You might actually like it."
"I told you yesterday" I sighed. "I don't like Kpop."
"Then what kind of music do you like?"
"Nothing you'd be interested in" I smiled and continued walking.
She grabbed my shoulder and forced me to turn around. "You're not leaving until you either listen to this song or tell me what kind of music you like."
I heaved a heavy sigh as I rolled my eyes "Gregorian Chant."
"What?" she was dumbfounded.
"You wanted to know what I liked, didn't you?"
"Well, yeah" she fumbled for words.
"I just told you" I continued quickly so that she couldn't totally process what was going on. "Gregorian Chant."
While she was still in shock and trying to process what I said, I managed to break free of her grip. As I started walking away, she finally managed to come to her senses. "Where are you going?"
I turned around and said "I already told you what kind of music I like."
"That's not a kind of music!" she retorted.
I smiled and said "Yes it is. If you don't believe me, just look it up yourself." Then I turned on my heels and walked away knowing full well that she was going to look it up on her phone.

"What happened after that?" I asked. "What did she do?"
"A few seconds later I heard her scream 'What the FXXX is this?' and I couldn't help but chuckle to myself as I walked out of the building."
"That's hilarious!" I laughed.
"Serves her right for trying to pick on me" she smiled back at me.
"What made you think to say Gregorian Chant?" I was even more curious now. "I mean, it's not like it's really something everybody goes around listening to on a normal basis."
"I listen to it" she replied seriously.
"Huh?"
"It's the perfect music to listen to when you're trying to drown out all other sounds." Then she smiled and laughed "And to fall asleep to."
I couldn't help but laugh too. "Maybe I should try it out too."
She smiled at me "Got someone bothering you too?"
"Sort of" I rubbed my neck. Not wanting to go into detail, I quickly changed the subject. "You know, I'd come and put those girls in their place if you'd tell me where you live."

Not this again. "Same here" I replied
"Huh?"
"Tell me where you are and I'll come running if someone tries bothering you too" I smiled.
He chuckled a little knowing that he was fighting a losing battle. "Touché " he sighed in defeat.
We laid on the grass and looked up at the stars. "Look over there" I pointed up at the stars. "That is the Pleiades."
He smiled as he held me close. "Interesting" he sighed contently.
"The Pleiades is my favorite star cluster" I smiled as I snuggled closer to him. "Do you have a favorite star or constellation?"
He looked up at the sky deep in thought for a while before saying "I don't know. I've never really had much time to think about it."
"What about now?" I asked. "Is there anything that catches your eye?"
He smiled slyly and leaned over me "You."
"Tease" I blushed as I playfully hit his chest.
He smiled more as he leaned in closer to whisper in my ear "Nope, I'm dead serious." Then he kissed me ever so gently, but still full of passion.
"Miss! Wake up!" I heard the familiar voice of the bus driver echoing in the distance. "Last stop!"
"Damn it! Why now?" I cursed to myself as I slowly opened my eyes, stood up and got off the bus.
"Have a good evening" he smiled as he closed the doors and drove off.
"It would have been better if you hadn't woken me" I sighed in frustration.
I placed my hand on my chest to try and calm my racing heart to no avail. All I could think about was the look in his eyes, the breath of his whisper and the feel of his lips. "If only he were real..."
