Ivan stood atop the damaged structure of the abandoned building, gazing out of the second story window. He watched with merciless glee as his small band of newly-recruited vampires attacked the thronged of young party goers who had gathered at the cantina across the street. The two pitiful security guards were no match for the rogues despite their threatening brawn. Local police arrived at the scene within minutes of the bloody brawl but were immediately overrun by Ivan's crew. There were some of the more fortunate youngsters who escaped, causing Ivan to smile. He allowed it; their dreams of this night would haunt them. That was reward enough.
Craving the appetite for blood, seeing as to the amount spilled in the ongoing melee, Ivan pushed through the window as he alighted from his perch, landing lightly in the street, the broken pieces of the window falling around him like glittering rain. He grasped a nearby police officer by the collar of his uniform and sank his sharpened incisors into the man's jugular, causing the shocked victim to drop his revolver and writhe heavily in pain, his ichor ruthlessly spurting from the gaping wound in his neck in line with his rapid heartrate. Ivan drank from the red fountain hungrily, blood flowing down his chin and neck. In less than a minute, Ivan tossed the near-dead human to the ground and stepped into the foray, draining the lifeblood from those less fortunate to escape.
The whole plot of this twisted display of violence was to assemble recruits for Ivan's army. His late master Nesdal was most unfortunate to have his life ended so quickly before his desire for darkness and anarchy could be realized. He'd come close but failed. It was now Ivan's turn to make it happen. He would do all in his power to bring it to pass and to consume the victory of vengeance which his late master also craved.
