Chapter 13- America

I was asleep for about 10 hours. A young lady who sat next to me woke me up.
"Sorry I didn't mean to wake you up..." she whispered to me.
"No it's ok. I would probably over slept anyways."
I checked the time and it was 10:31 am.
"Wow. I slept for so long, " I told myself.
"How long is left 'till we land?"
"I guess an hour or so," the lady answered.
"Alright, thank you."

I had one more hour and then I would meet Tal! OMG, I was so excited. So I turned my phone on and texted my parents telling them that 'there is an hour left till we land in California'. I had nothing to do. I was so bored. So I thought to myself... 'well, I'm in America, right? Let me just text Tal!' And I did as my mind told me to.
-"Hey Tal. I'm in America. 😁 We'll be landing in about 40 minutes.😉"
-"Hey Kali!😁 Thanks for letting me know. I am getting ready now, and I'll come to pick you up.😆😄"
-"Okay... I can't wait!😄 But wait... How will I recognise you?!😨😓" I started to panic. I didn't know how I will find him. Where will he be?
-"Don't worry, you'll find me.😂 I'll be wearing a black pizza shirt.🍕👕"
The pizza shirt was his favourite. He loved to wear that shirt on special occasions.
-"Okay. I'll meet you there,😊😉" I said.

I put my phone away and started thinking again. Whilst thinking, I looked out the window and saw some pure, flufy clouds. I was getting excited just by thinking about meeting Tal. My heart was beating faster and faster every second.

It was finally time. The airplane landed. It was really crowded. How was I meant to find Tal? I went to the toilet to wash my face. When I was done, I walked outside the station and checked if maybe Tal was waiting for me at the car park. I was about to walk out the station when someone grabbed my hand...
