Chapter 15- Invitation

I picked the letter up and opened it. This is what it said inside: "Hey Karol! It's nice that you came to visit California. I hope you'll enjoy every second of your life here. I wanted to invite you to a little party that will be held at the beach, at around 7pm. You will be the main guest, and I hope to see you there! -Adi"

Wow. I got my first ever letter from Adi. And I was 100% sure that I'd go, well what else would I be doing here. It would be pretty boring sitting in a room, doing nothing. So I got changed in some light and casual clothes. Then I went to the bathroom, which was right in the corner, and brushed my hair. When I was done, I went to find Tal. The door to his room was open, but he wasn't inside.

So I went downstairs hoping that he'd be there, and he was. He was helping his brother Adi.
"Em, hey guys.." I said awkwardly.
"Hi Karol," they both answered at the same time.
"I got your invitation, Adi. And I definitely will come." I said to him, smiling.
"That's awesome, we all can't wait. It'll be fun!"
I didn't know what he meant by saying 'we', but I guess I'd have to just see till the party begins.
"Is there anything you need?" asked Tal, with a sweet voice.
"Well, I wanted someone to maybe show me around a little..."
"Yeah sure, I'll come with you." Tal answered back.

I put my white trainers on and we were ready to go. Tal showed me around the neighbourhood. He took me out into the park, were we sat for a few minutes by a big tree, and lay on the grass looking far out into the clouds. Then he took me to a small restaurant, where we ordered a cold drink. Then, we head back home and got ready for the party.
