Chapter 10- I Love You

-"Well...😓😉" I answered. I really didn't know what to answer back to him!
-"Well what?😁😁" he replied back. It was so awkward between us.
-"I guess, I love you too...😍😘"
It was so embarrassing just to say that line... But we can say that I kinda meant it. Why was he the first one to say it anyways?! Does he like me, or is he saying this to be nice?... Oh I don't know! I give up on life!
-"I have to go now. I will talk to you later.😚😓Bye! 😏👋"
-"Bye...😬💕" I replied back. It was so awkward! It seemed as if he didn't want to talk to me anymore! Agggghhhhhh! I really had to ruin this romantic moment... I hate myself!

I put my phone down on my desk and started making a list of things I needed to take to California. I made a HUGE list. There were so many things I had to take and only 2 months left!

At the same time as I was writing the list, my dad entred the room.
"Karol?..." he said, and I immediately looked in his direction.
"Yes dad?"
"I wanted to give you something. You're going USA for a month, so I though this is a good idea to give you this..."
It was a white envelope.
"An envelope?" I asked unsure.
"With money inside..."
I opened the envelope and couldn't believe it. There was so much cash inside. So I took it out and started counting.
"800, 900, 1000... Dad... are you crazy?! You and mum gave me 1000 US dollars!"
I didn't want the money, but I knew what my dad was going to say.
"Keep them. You can buy yourself some nice things, and take your friends out into restaurants. Just keep it safe and have fun. We love you."
I didn't know what to say. I wanted to cry, but it would look weird crying over money. So I hugged my dad really quicky before I'd explode with tears. That money could have been more useful for my parents than me. But they still gave it to me... Today was the best day of my life!
