The conversation that I had with Tal felt amazing. I just thought that it was kind of weird when he texted me. He had a choice of 10 million people to text, but he chose to text me... I just had to think of a way that my mum would let me go to USA. After school I told myself that I will go and talk with my mum no matter what.
6 hours passed and I still didn't figure out what to say to my mum. Then something came up to my mind. I had an idea! I would tell my mum that I'm going on a school trip! I rushed to the library which was 15 minutes away from my school, and I printed out a fake school trip form. All my mum had to do was write my details and sign it. If she'd sign it, all I would do then is hide the form, and rip it when I would come back from California. That was an amazing idea!
I came back home and got changed first. I sat by my mum, held the form in my left hand, and asked:
"Mum, can I ask you something?"
"Yes honey, what's wrong?"
"I just wanted to ask... because there is this summer school trip to California... and I was wondering if maybe... if maybe I can go?"
"School trip to California? In summer?"
"It's like a camp. We're going there for 4 weeks."
"And where will you stay for the nights?"
"It's a camp, mum..."
"Hmmm, I will think about it and let you know."
"Okay mum, thank you!"
"No problem, darling!"
I have no idea how long it will take my mum to think about the trip, but Tal has to buy the tickets and I need to let him know as quickly as possible. Should I tell Tal, or wait another few days, (or even weeks), for my mum to make her decision?
