Josh and I are back at it again. Hindi na namin pinag-usapan ang tungkol sa napag-awayan namin nakaraan. He trusts me too much and it hurts that I'm lying over and over again.

"Set it to Majoy!" sigaw ni Ate Kianna at dali dali ko naman itong ginawa. We're killing our free time by playing volleyball dahil mas okay na gawing pass time ang paglalaro kesa matulog lang.

"Kain tayo sa Agno after," Ate Dawn said as she sat down on the floor. I sat on the floor as well at ginaya naman ng iba.

"Treat mo?" Ate Justine wiggles her eyebrows at sinamaan siya ng tingin ni Ate Dawn, "para namang may pera ako." She rolls her eyes while showing off her coin purse with 150 peso bill inside.

"Weh, ang pagkakaalam ko dalawa ata wallet mo." Ate Kianna butted in at tumawa naman kami.

"Pahinga muna tayo girls," Ate Majoy stretched her arms out at pumwesto sa tabi ko para umupo. "teka, bakit nga pala hindi na sumasama sa team si Betts?" Ate May asked. They all averted their gaze to me at napailing ako.

"Wala din po akong idea," I answered frantically dahil bihira nalang din kami mag-usap ni Betts. She became so distant all of the sudden tapos pagyayayain siya sasabihin niyang busy siya or may other alibis pa.

"I think she's busy with her research paper," Ate Des answered. "Huh? Tapos naman ata papers niya," sagot naman ni Ate May.

"Aish, baka busy lang naman yung tao." Bettina butted in at napalingon kami sa gawi niya.

Bettina sat with us at bitbit niya ang isang malaking paper bag. She looked so different today at may kakaiba sa aura niya.

"Surprise to see me?" She chuckled at bigla naman siyang sinabunutan ni Ate Kianna. "Bruha ka, dinaig mo pa si Liza Soberano sa sobrang pagkabusy mo. Pokashel ka," Ate Kianna said while poking her belly.

"sorry daming taping eh," nagjoke naman si Betts at napa-facepalm ako.

"Kidding aside, actually may sasabihin ako sa inyo." she went serious at bigla akong kinabahan. What's with this girl?

"Whaaaat is it?" I ask out of curiosity.

Bettina held my hand tight at naramdaman ko kung gaano ka-lamig iyon. I stare at her face and a tear suddenly fell to her cheeks.

"I-I'm leaving the team," she blurted out. Natahimik kaming lahat sa sinabi niya. Walang sinuman ang nagsalita. Not even the bully Ate Kianna could ever utter a word.

"W-what?" hindi makapaniwala kong tanong. Parang nabasag ang mundo ko at unti-unti akong nanlumo.

Bettina is like a sister to me, she's like my other half at ayokong iwan niya ako.

"I-I'm sorry..." she muttered and sobs filled in the whole court.

"Sorry kung hindi ko sinabi agad. I'm leaving for Canada this week." dagdag pa nito. "I'll stay there for good, hindi ko alam kung babalik pa ako." she added.
