THIRD PERSON

It was a sunny afternoon when they arrived at Cotabato. The whole gang decided to eat their lunch in the place where they're going to stay para makapagpahinga sila pagka-tapos. They were all exhausted and tired from the airplane ride kahit nakaupo lamang sila. Their energies were nowhere to be found right now.

Michelle's quietly sitting on the bus together with her seatmate, Ricci—who's currently busy with his phone. They're not in the mood to play around.

Except for...

"Nakaka-excite! OMG!" sigaw ng napakalaking panda na pumasok sa bus. All of us gave him annoying stares dahil nga naiingayan sila dito.

"Shut the fuck up, Brent." Prince muttered while covering his ears with his frog pillow. "Hala siya, ang init init ng dugo pagdating sa akin. Kalma ka diyan, brodie!" tumabi si Brent kay Prince, Andrei shook his head at hindi na nagawa pang makisama sa kalokohan ni Brent.

Tahimik ang buong bus, wala ni isa sa kanila ang maingay gawa ng pagod sa biyahe. The administrators, PT and coaches were in the van. Tanging ang Green Archers at Lady Spikers lamang ang nasa loob ng bus.

On the other hand, Michelle woke up from a quick nap. There she realized that her stomach's aching. It's quiet painful at namimilipit na siya sa sakit. She couldn't react nor utter a single word dahil ayaw niyang maistorbo si Ricci sa tabi niya. He was sleeping peacefully, siguro'y binabawi niya ang puyat kagabi.

"Fuck," Michelle cursed while biting her lower lip. Napapikit siya ng kanyang mata habang iniinda ang sakit na nararamdaman niya. Aksidente naman niyang nabangga si Ricci kaya nagising siya.

"Okay ka lang? You look uncomfortable." Ricci asked noong nakita niyang nakahawak si Michelle sa kanyang tiyan. "Cci..." that's the only word that she can utter dahil namimilipit na siya sa sakit na nararamdaman.

"C-Can you please..." she stopped for awhile and leaned her head on the glass window beside her.

"Hey hey... What happened?" Ricci started to panic dahil sa itsura ni Michelle ngayon. She looks so pale and cold sweats were going out of her forehead.

"...get my medicine in my bag. Just... Please." Michelle said and Ricci nodded. He hurriedly stood up at kinuha ang backpack ni Michelle sa compartment. There are alot of medicines inside kaya hindi niya alam kung saan ang kukunin dito.

"Cci, hurry up..." Michelle whispered. Ayaw niyang makaistorbo sa iba kaya naman as much as possible, gusto niyang pilitin maging okay at hindi iinda ang sakit.

"wait... There's alot of medicines inside. Which one should I get?" Ricci's hands were shaking from fear and nervousness. Ngayon niya lang nakita na nagka-ganto ang dalaga. He wants to help her, he wants to carry all the pain that she has been experiencing.

"Tangina cci. Yung blue na tablet..." Michelle cursed and that's when he knew that she badly needed the medicine kaya naman kinuha niya ang kanyang water jog sa bag niya at ibinigay iyon kay Michelle.

Ricci stared at her while she's busy taking her med. He felt relief when he saw Michelle smiled.

"Thank you 'Cci." Mich muttered. "Please don't tell anyone about this. Sumakit lan yung tyan ko." She lied again. Ricci didn't believed in her pero wala na siyang panahon para pagdudahan si Michelle.
