The large red sun was hanging low over the horizon and the sky was slowly changing from blue to a blood orange. Iya was just finishing registering for her classes with Iwe, who was standing in the corner of the room with his head in a book.
"I finished registering." Iya said approaching the other inkling. "I wasn't able to get all the classes I wanted though."

Iwe lets out a knowledgeable grunt, not looking up from his book. Iya smiles kindly and pats the boy on the shoulder leading him out of the administration office and they both strolled down the street toward the Inkopolis plaza.

"What classes did you pick Iwe?" Iya asks.

"Huh?" He finally looks up from his book. "Oh, the history of inkopolis and a few salmonid job things. Nothing special."

"How fascinating." Iya smiles again. "I'm taking salmonid classes too!"Iwe's eyes widen and he finally looks up from his book to look at iya for the first time. "Seriously?! "

Iya nods "of course~ they seem fun. And you get rewards for it too."

"B-but you could get hurt!" Iwe explains, "salmonids are super violent!"

Iya just smiles kindly "Don't worry, I can take care of myself. And besides, I'll be with you!"

Iwe blushes lightly and turns back to his book, unable to look directly at Iya. They walked through the small crowds of inklings near the Deca tower and they watched Marina and Pearl through the glass in which they sat chatting with each other. Marina and pearl waves at them through the glass. iya waves back but looks back at Iwe.

"Maybe we could-"

A scream pierced the air and everyone looked toward the comotion. A inkling girl with short tentacles and wearing the starter gear, ran out a splattershot jr. in her hands. Shortly after, another inking ran after her. "Come back her you Murderer!!"The girl screamed again and ran out of the plaza.

"What was that about?" Iwe asks, looking confused.

"Who knows." Iya says. "Well I gotta head home. I need to get ready for classes next week!" She turns away and starts to leave.

 "See ya tomorrow!"

"Bye...." And he watched her leave. Not long after he started off to his home too. His mind still on the screaming girl and the boy running after her.
