Once upon an accident.

Act 1 scene 2

(Alex wakes up and doesn't know where she is. It comes flooding back to her.

She stumbles down stairs. Red riding hood is there.)

Alex: Morning.

Red: Morning. Granny told me to take you to the diner when you woke up for breakfast.

A: Ummm.... thanks I guess.

(They walk outside and Alex sees how bad the damage was to her bike.)

Alex: (surprised and shocked) Oh no!! My bike.

Red: Awesome. You have a motorbike?!?!

A: Yeah. And what?

R: But I thought you are like 15 16 years old.

A: I am 16 yrs old. And that hasn't stopped me from growing up.

(The rest of the journey is in silence.)

(When they arrive at the diner it is littered with the locals. They all give her dirty looks except for a young boy.

Alex sits down looks at the menu and beckons Red over.)

Red: Hey. What would you like?

Alex: Umm.... Can I have scrambled eggs and sausages please?

R: Yes certainly. they will be ready in 5 - 10 minutes.

A: Ok thanks.

(Red leaves the table to go to the kitchen to give chef the order. Alex puts her headphones on and waits. The young boy comes over. He tugs on Alex's sleeve. She takes off her headphones.)

Henry: I'm Henry. Who are you? Why you here?

Alex: Ummm... do you mind. I'm trying to listen to music and eat breakfast here.

H: Sorry. But who are you? And how did you get here?

A: My names Alex and I don't know how I got here cos I forgot the route we took to get to the diner.

H: I wasn't asking what route you took to get to the diner. I was asking you how you ended up in the town.

A: You ask a lot of questions for a little kid. (Turns to the rest of the people in the diner.) Whose child is this?

(Everyone looks at each other. Then 2 ladies step forward.)

Emma: I'm his birth mum.

Regina: And I'm his adoptive mother.

Alex: Well I think you need to keep a closer eye on your son or I'll get a restraining order on him.

E: Ah. I'm sorry.

R: Don't talk to me like that. Do you know who I am?

A: No and I don't really care.

R: I am the mayor of the town and I want you gone as soon as possible.

A: I will go as soon as my Bike is fixed. And why would I want to stay here? It's a dump.

(Alex finishes eating in silence. As she leaves the diner she sees the shadow. the shadow picks her up and throws her at the diner outside wall. She misses the wall and crashes through the window and lands on a table. She scrambles off the table. As the shadow starts to come in the window of the diner she draws out her gun and fires repeatedly. However the bullets pass through. She is panicking.

The shadow starts to come closer. She is now panicking so much that she collapses from the stress.)
