Obito let out a sigh as he walked out of his apartment with his bag slung over his shoulder. He had got everything he needed and was now heading to the gates of Konohagakure. The streets were empty with the exception of the usual alley cats that hung around the corner. The sound of his shoes echoed off the building and he could sense a familiar chakra sign just up ahead. The pink haired girl came into view with Hinata walking by her side.

"Oi! Sakura!" He said aloud causing the girls to spin around. Sakura smiled brightly at her friend and Hinata just looked to the floor. "What are you brats doing here?"

"We were just on our way to the gates to meet you Obito sensei!" Sakura said. Obito let out a sigh and facepalmed.

"Sakura you can't come with me this time." He said. Sakura frowned and looked at Hinata.

"You are going to Kirigakure right Uchiha-san?" Hinata said looking at the Jonin. Obito nodded and switched his bag to his other shoulder.

"I have been to the Hidden Mist before sensei! Why can't I go with you this time!?" The girl said. Obito took in a breath and looked at Hinata then at Sakura. Both girls had eyes full of determination. They had a 5 minute stare down before Obito looked away and sighed once more.

"Fine you can come! But only because I have to get going and don't have time to argue!" He said.

"Yay!" Sakura said looking at Hinata who was smiling ear to ear.

"Come on! Lets go brats!" Obito said. Hinata laughed as Sakura skipped along next to Obito. She ran and caught up to her new team.

"Told you...." Kakashi said sitting in a tree near the scene. Rin jumped up and landed next to him. She looked at her former teammate. "He just can't say no to that girl."

"Yep." Rin said. Even though Kakashi covered his face she could tell he was smiling slightly. Sakura basically grew up with the three of them and all of Obito's unit. "She's like his little sister or like a daughter kinda."

"What are you guys watching?" Someone said behind them. The two turned around and looked at the red haired kunoichi smiling at them with her sleeping six-year-old in her arms

"Kushina-san! Why are you and Naruto-kun out so late?" Rin said jumping down and walking to her. Kushina looked at Naruto and smiled at his sleeping face.

"I bumped into Mikoto-san on the way to the store with Naruto a little while ago and she invited us over. Sasuke and Naruto are friends you see..." She said as she watched Kakashi jump down and walk behind Rin. The brown haired girl looked at Naruto and smiled. She has always loved her former sensei's family. They were the cutest thing in her eyes. "Naruto fell asleep on our way home....What were you guys doing? Did Minato send you to check on the gate staff again? I told that man that they were just fine but he never listens to me.." Kushina said looking at the two.

"No. I think he took your work for that." Kakashi said. Rin smiled and looked back towards the gate.

"We actually came to see Obito off. He was sent on a mission to Kirigakure.... Again." She said. Kushina frowned and shifted Naruto to her other side.

"Let's walk you two home." Kakashi said grabbing Naruto from his mother.

"Thanks guys!" She smiled. Rin smiled as they continued on toward their house. "Do you guys know why he was sent to Kirigakure?"

"No. He said he couldn't tell us. He left with Sakura and Hinata just a minute ago." Kakashi said. Kushina stopped walking and looked at the younger jonin. She couldn't believe what she had heard. Hiashi let his daughter leave the village and go all the way to the land of water? There was no way they are talking about Hinata Hyuga... She has the highest bounty on her head why would her father let her just walk out of the village.
