"Lord 4th..." Obito said walking into the room. Minato peered over the paper he was reading. His eyes landing on Obito's half covered face. He could tell his student already knew why he stood before him.

"Obito... Sit." Minato said, motioning to the seat across from him. Obito frowned but still sat. Neither of them spoke. Obito just watched Minato quietly read his paperwork. His eyes slowly running over every word.

"So sensei... Have you heard anything about Kizashi and Mebuki?" Obito spoke, cutting the silence. Minato wasn't fazed. He didn't even look at the younger man.

"Actually yes but we can talk about that later. Fugaku will be here soon." he said flipping the page over. He sighed and grabbed his pen, signing the bottom.

"Um... If I may ask... Why exactly does Fugaku Uchiha want to speak with me?" Obito asked. Minato sighed again and put the paper down.

"I don't know. I'm just a clueless as you. He said he need to speak with you but couldn't find you and asked me to bring you here." he said. Obito opened his mouth to speak but immediately closed it as someone politely knocked on the door.

"Come in." Minato said leaning back in his chair. Obito spun around. His eye instantly meeting Fugaku's gaze. He was shocked when the older man smiled at him.

"Uchiha-san...uh." Obito spit out without thinking. It felt weird to say his own last name towards someone else. He also cringed at the way he sounded so similar to Hinata.

"No need to be formal Obito." he laughed causing Obito and Minato to exchange a look.

"Right uh... Fugaku... Why have you been looking for me?" he asked. Fugaku's smile faded and he looked at Minato. The blonde man smiled weakly.

"You guys should go talk uh... Somewhere else..." he spoke. "I should go back to my work and you have some stuff to discuss."

"Um okay." Obito said and followed Fugaku out of the office.

"So Obito. I hear you are working with Sakura Haruno, am I right?" he said as they walked down the street.

"Yeah I do... Do you know her?" Obito said looking at him. The man nodded.

"I've heard a lot about her from Mikoto." he began, still standing under the shade of the tree he stopped under, "And rumors from all over your ANBU unit. To my understanding, you are training her and Hyuga-san. She is also of genin rank, if not higher, at the young age of six. Am I wrong?"

Obito looked at the man. He didn't understand why Fugaku would be so interested in his students.

"Yes I do train with them." he answered.

Fugaku 'hmmed'.

"I find it interesting that a high-ranking individual, like yourself, would take on two young girls. But if since you did so, they must be different from everyone else." he said.
