3. Sugar, We're Going Down

"Shiiiiiit, Molly wake up" Rydel said shaking me.

"Whaaaaaat" I groaned, annoyed she'd woken me, at what felt like early in the morning.

"It's 1pm.."

We both looked at each other before bursting out laughing.

"Why is this even funny? We've missed basically a whole day of school." I asked, still laughing. "We can't go in at this time! we'd have detention forever."

"Well we'll just have to call in sick." She laughed back.

We went down stairs and Rydel made pancakes for both of us while I continued to watch vampire diaries on the kitchen tv. After we ate the pancakes - which were amazing - we decided to go to my house so I could shower and get changed before going to the mall. It wasn't very far, only 4 houses down from the lynch's. I put on a striped long sleeved crop top and a pair of black skinny jeans that had rips at the knees with my white Jeffery Campbell boots my mum got me for my birthday. I grabbed some money from the jar in the kitchen that was supposed to be for savings, put on a pair of round sunglasses, then we both headed outside and walked back up to Rydel's car, which she had decided to name Chubbs.

"Where do you wanna go first?" Rydel asked as we pulled up outside the mall.

"Um... Hollister maybe? I need to get a hell of a lot of summer stuff."

We went inside and headed into Hollister. I inhaled the amazing smell of their body sprays as soon as I walked in the door and sighed.

"I love love love that smell."

Rydel giggles at me. We walked round the shop (having to basically squint because the lighting was so shit as per) and I grabbed everything that looked good to me to try on. I ended up buying a few tshirts, a pair of shorts, a bikini and a cute skirt whilst Rydel bought an amazing dress, a pair of sandals and a few body sprays.

"Where to next?"

"Brandy Melville maybe?" Rydel suggested.

After going to almost every store in the mall we went to Starbucks.

"Hi, can I take your order please?"

"Um, I'll have a caramel frappe please." It was my favourite.

"And can I have a raspberry juice blend?" Rydel asked.

"You, can I take your names please?"

"Elizabeth and Sophie."

I always said fake names in Starbucks, it's all part of the fun.

After we collected our drinks, we sipped them whilst we headed back to the car with all our bags.

"Woah." Rydel pointed to a couple full on making out against a car parked a few down from hers. The messy blond hair undeniably belonged to Ross.

Rydel walked over and grabbed the back of Ross' collar.

"What the fuck are you doing? You have a girlfriend! You can't keep playing people like this Ross, you are going to end up with no one."

"Get of me!" He said shoving Rydel's arms aside, getting defensive. "I broke up with her this morning, ok? You really are a bitch Rydel." He clenched his jaw.

The girl who had been with Ross had used her initiative and left, I recognised her from math class.

"So you just come down here and start making out with a random girl? Now get in the car I'm driving you home."

"No, I'll walk."

"Ross..." I started but he cut me off.

"I don't care what you have to say." He snapped before turned and walked away.

I was a little taken aback by his sudden snap at me but god is he hot.

But I was just another one of the girls he plays, we we first met in the club and the worst part is he didn't even remember it... at all.

I turned back to Rydel who looked like she was about to cry.

"I'm 110% done with him, I think we all are." She muttered before getting in the car and slamming the door.

When we got back to Rydel's, we got changed into our new bikinis and waited for Ellington to arrive before going down to the pool with the boys minus Ross.

"RACE YOU TO THE POOL" Ryland yelled.

We all ran from the kitchen outside and jumped in the pool sending water flying across the back yard.

The boys mucked about jumping of the diving board and trying to splash us whilst we sat in the inflatable rings.

After a while Ross came down- in his swim shorts, abs showing- and apologised to Rydel quietly before jumping into the pool with us.

"How come you guys missed school?" Riker asked.

"Oh.. um, we kinda slept in so we just went to the mall."

"Lucky." He sighed. "What do you guys wanna do?"

"Let's play a game!" Rocky suggested.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"Truth or dare?"

We all nodded again.

"I'll go first." Riker winked. "Molly, truth or dare?"

"Ummmm, dare I guess."

"I dare you........... to kiss Ross."
