“Niall’s a chicken!” I shout and run from him with my phone in hand.
“Alina don’t do it!” He chases into the room after me.
Harry looks at us both, “What is going on here?”
I hold the phone up ready to hit the call key, “Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t Niall. You’re too scared to do it, so I might as well!”
He looks back and forth from me to the phone. After a minute of deciding, he finally caves in sighing, “I’ll do it…”
“YES!”
“On one condition.”
“Noooo.”
“It’s nothing big, really.”
I give him a hard look, “Okay what is it?”
“You and Harry have to come with us.”
“As in a double date?”
“Yup.”
I turn to Harry and start to explain this, “Niall’s a big chicken…”
Niall cuts in, “Well ya know what they say… you are what you eat.”
I hit his arm and continue to look at Harry, “Do you think we could double date with him and Amanda tonight?”
“Sure. Niall, be a man and call the girl already.”
“Fine! All of you chill.”
He hits call on my phone and I hear it ring a couple times before she answers. It’s so quiet in the room we can hear their conversation without the phone being on speaker.
“Hey Lina! What’s the latest with you and Harry? Hehe!”
“Awkward she has caller ID!” Harry and Niall laugh.
“Actually Amanda, it’s Niall calling.”
“Oh hey Niall! What’s up?”
“Nothing, how are you?”
“I’m great how are you!”
“I’m good ha. I actually wanted to see if you were… um… doing anything tonight?”
“Looks like I’m free!”
“Well...um…” I twirl my hand signaling for him to spit it out. ”Would you like to go to dinner with me, with Alina and Harry? Ya know like as a date?”
I hear her giggle, “Sure, where are we going?”
Niall gives me a look of panic. Oops looks like we forgot that minor detail. He flips through the little hotel book of restaurants nearby.
“How about Fogo de Chao?”
I facepalm and he gives me a look.
“Sounds great!”
“Okay we’ll see you there at 8.”
“Okay bye Niall!”
“Bye Manda.”
I look at him, “Fogo de Chao, Niall! Really!”
He looks confused, “What? Is it not good?”
I sigh, “No it’s absolutely amazing. Brazillian Barbeque. It’s just super pricey and they stuff you silly with food. The way the restaurant works is that you have these little cards on your table. One side of the card is green and the other one is red. When you have the green side flipped up, the waiters continue to bring you different arranges of meat. When it’s on red, they stop.”
