Lost and Found

It was a week later when Benjamin made the trip to Forks. I had grown in the time that passed. I now could pass as a 14 or 15 year old. I've noticed that as my body grows so does my mind.

Today was my first training with Benjamin. Everyone, and I mean everyone was here, meaning the Cullens's and the pack. Paul made sure everyone from the pack showed up. Even Emily was hanging out with us.

"Deme! Training time." I heard Benjamin yell from the other side of my closed door. I was sitting up in my room with Kim, Jared's imprint.

I met her a few days ago and she is already like my best friend. I loved her like a sister and she I. She had Jared happy and that's all I want for my best friend.

I have gotten really closer to the pack now that I can actually do things on my own. I'm really close to Paul though. He's more then my best friend. Its hard to explain it. I guess you can say I have a huge crush on him and wish I was older so I could date him.

I know all about imprinting. I begged Billy to tell me the whole imprint story one day. I know that's why I'm so close to Paul. Why I feel the way I feel about him.

Eveyone seems to know about my crush on Paul. My dad isn't to hapoy about it but he puts up with it. He knows that I would be crushed without Paul.

"Get ready and meet me by the stream in five." Ben yelled before his footsteps disappeared. I groaned and stood up from my spot next to Kim.

I quickly changed and pulled Kim out of my room. We headed downstairs and saw no one. "I guess they're all waiting for us." Kim laughed and we headed to the stream.

As soon as we were seen Jared and Paul came running towards us. Jared gently yanked Kim into his arms kissing her forehead. Kim blushed and I couldn't help but laugh.

Paul kissed my forehead and I kissed his back on the cheek. "Ok, Dementia time for training."

I pulled away from Paul and walked over to Benjamin. He moved me to the other side of the stream and he stood infront of me.

"Well I've found out that air and water are the easiest so that's where we'll start."

I nodded. "Air first. I've seen what you've done with water and it seems that the elements follow your movement and mind."

When Benjamin first came he wanted to see my water trick. He was impressed and said mine control was different from others.

"Ok so I want you to think about making the air create a little wind." I focused on the space infront of me and ordered it to move with my kind, which I did.

Benjamin nodded, "now take a deep breathe in then blow it out and focus on making wind at the same time."

I did what he told me and smiled when I breathed out and wind filled the air. Benjamin smiled and patted me on the back.

"Ok. On to water. You basically have it down but I want you to create a ball of water." He moved his hand towards the water and waite until it reached him. Then he started moving his hands in a circular movement. The water wrapped around itself until a ball started forming.

I copied Benjamin's actions until i had my own water ball rested in my hands. Everyone cheered as I tossed it into the air and caught it.

"This is so cool." I turned towards my family and smiled at them. "Wow. Your eyes." Seth said waklking closer to me.

"What about them?" My nose scrunched up I confusion. "They're blue." My eyes widened.

"What does that mean?" I asked Benjamin. "I'm not sure. I've never seen anyone else's do that."

I bent down towards the stream and looked at my reflection. Sure enough my eyes were blue like Seth said.

"Ok what next?" I asked Benjamin.

For the rest of the day we worked on the elements. Earth was a little tougher but I finally got it after about an hour. Ee took a break after and everyone told me my eyes were green while I handled the Earth element.

During our break Carlisle found my book and read more into it. It didn't say anything about my eyes changin but it mentioned that some avatars can also control electricity.

Benjamin said he would try to teach me but he wasn't able to control electricity so we would basically be learning it together.

After the break was over we all headed back out and worked on fire. I was nervous since fire is dangerous and could kill my family easily.

"For fire you just have to stay focused 100%. Its harder to control since fire has a mind of its own, but you can do it." I nodded.

"There's a pile of sticks beside you. I want you to light them." I nodded again. "If it gets to be to much put it out with water."

I took a deep breath and stared at the pile of sticks. I imagined them on fire and soon smoke filled the air. "Good, now put it out." I did what Ben asked.

"Now I'm gonna make a fire ball. I'm gonna throw it to you and you can try cathing it." I heard a growl come from behind me. Benjamin looked over my head towards the growl.

"I don't wish to hurt your imprint, but we need to train." I turned my head and saw Paul watching me. I nodded to him, letting him know it was fine.

He nodded back and slowly sat back on the grass. I turned back to Benjamin and watched as he formed a fire ball. "Remember focus." I nodded and hold my hands out infront of me.

I could feel everyone's eyes on me. Benjamin nodded to me and pushed the ball out of his hands. I breathed out and focus on the ball that moved towards me.

I felt warmness above my hand and i looked down to see the fire in my hands. I put it out with water, smiling.

"I did it!" I cheered. I ran over and hugged Benjamin. "How about we call it a day?" I nodded and turmed to run over to everyone.

Dad pulled me into a hug first. "I'm so proud princess." I hugged him back still smiling.

"Dem that was totally badass." Jared said. Kim who was wrapped up in his arms nodded. The pack all hugged me and then demanded I go to the beach with them.

I nodded and we soon headed out. I was on Paul's back cause I was too lazy to run.

We stopped at Emily's to change and pack up food. After we had everything we headed down to the beach.
