Lost and Found

I woke up to a bang followed by a growl for outside. I kicked off my covers and ran downstairs. Bella was missing from the couch along with grandpa and Edward. "Jake was just here." Mom spoke up as I looked around confused. I sighed.

It's been two weeks since Bella and Edward came home and I know its killing Jake. I haven't really been hanging out with the pack since Bella needs me more. Paul calls me every night though and half the time he's with the pack so I still talk to them.

No one knows Bella is back except us Cullen's. Charlie calls the house three times a day but we just let it ring. Jacob never calls but I know he talks to Charlie. That's probably what led him here this morning.

"Dementia go get dressed, then go see Carlisle." Aunt Alice said, hugging me quickly. I nodded and headed back to my room. I showered and changed then headed to grandpa's office.

Before I could knock, the door swung open. Edward came stomping out. He ran out of the house without looking back.

"Dementia come on in." I looked back into the office and saw Bella and grandpa. Bella was clinching her stomach, crying.

Grandpa gave a sad smile before taking my hand. "Well it looks like your growth has stopped. You don't look any different from yesterday." I smiled. "your knowledge should be up to our level as well."

He smiled and hugged me. I thanked him then walked over to Bella. She wiped her face before looking at me. "It's gonna be ok Bella. Just give it time." She slightly smiled. "Let's get you downstairs." As soon as I said that mom came running into the room. She scooped Bella into her arms and ran back downstairs with me following.

I went into the kitchen and ate some food grandma left out for me.

"Bella do you wanna try eating?" I yelled. I heard a no. I sighed along with the others. I finished my food and went back to the living room. I sat next to daddy and cuddled into his side. He was watching football with the controller in his hand. I noticed his grip on the controller was tighter than normal.

"You ok?" He groaned and pulled me closer to him. "I'm fine." I nodded. We watched the game for a little and everyone was quiet. Edward came stomping into the house followed by Jake and Seth.

"Jake! Seth!" I ran over and flung myself to each of them. They laughed and hugged me back. "Leah's outside." Right when Seth said that I took off outside and jumped on top of Leah.

"Girl I missed you." She laughed. "I missed you too. We all have." I helped her up from the ground and we talked for a little. I finally convinced her to come inside with me. Jake was cuddled up with Bella. and Edward was sitting on the ground next to her head.

"So what are you three doing here?" The three looked at each other and then looked down. "Sam is planning an attack on Bella." Edward answered. I gasped. "We wouldn't do it so we all left. Jacob's our alpha." Seth said proudly.

"Paul stayed.." I mumbled to myself. Everyone sighed. I felt tears coming to my eyes. My imprint was agreeing to attack my niece.

I sat on the ground in front of Bella. "Don't worry. I won't let them touch you." And I meant it. They would have to go through me to get to her.

We were all sitting around the living room. Bella had fallen asleep and I was sitting next to Seth, cuddled under his arm. It was freezing in the house and Seth offered to warm me up. Leah had gone back outside to run a perimeter check.

Daddy was walking in front of the glass windows, glaring out. Every now and then he would stop and hiss. I knew Sam's pack was surrounding the house and I wanted nothing more than to run out there and yell at them. everyone else was randomly placed around the living room.

It was quiet until Bella shot up and started gagging. "We need to find a way to get some food in her system." Grandma said.

"That actually is a good idea Jacob." Edward said, standing up. "It wasn't an idea. It was a side comment." Jacob commented.

I sat up from Seth's arm. "What was you idea?" He sighed, "I said its probably just looking for someone to sink its teeth into."

It took me a few moments to get what he was saying and by the time I did Carlisle was already in his way back over with a water plastic cup.

"Wait, you're actually gonna make her drink that?" I tried to hide my disguise for Bella's sake. "Its the fastest way to test the theory." Carlisle was about to hand the cup over to Bella when Edward stopped him. "Only if you okay with doing this Bella." She sat up, nodding. "I'll do anything to help." Edward nodded and headed over to cup.

Daddy, Jasper, and Alice all left the room and I almost followed. "I think I'm gonna be sick." Jake mumbled moving towards the end of the couch. I tried not to watch as Bella took a slip but it was hard to look away. "It taste...good." Bella said. Her teeth were red from the blood. Carlisle took her wrist and felt for her pulse. "Your pulse is strengthening already.

"Sorry Bella but that is just gross. I could never do it." Bella laughed and took another sip. "You would do it for your baby." Mom said, hugging me.
