Lost and Found

I was at home watching mommy pack my bag. "Why can't I go with you?" She zipped up my bag and sat down next to me. I climbed onto her lap and snuggled close to her cold chest.

"We have to keep you hidden from the bad people." She ran her hand through my curls. "I don't want anyone to get hurt."

"Everyone will be fine babe." I sighed and nodded, trying to believe her.

"Come on. Lets finish. Paul's gonna be here soon." I jumped out of mommy's lap and helped her pack my backpack.

"Is Bella already there with Edward and Jake?" Mommy nodded. I slipped on the backpack and ran downstairs.

"Daddy I'm gonna miss you." He laughed and picked me up.

"Don't worry. This will all be over before you know it." I nodded and snuggled closer.

"Dementia, Paul's here." Esme called. I looked and saw Paul walking into the living room. I hopped out of daddys arms and into Pauls.

"I missed you." He whispered into my hair. I squeezed his neck before pulling away.

I ran to everyone and hugged them bye and told them all to be safe. Paul then picked me and we took off for the camp site.

"Are you staying with me tonight?" We were almost there and it was already getting darker. Paul nodded and pulled me closer.

"Good." He laughed and kissed my forehead.

I was almost asleep when Paul slowed down. "Wake up babygirl." I opened my eyes and saw we were at the site. "Edward!"

I jumped into his arms and hugged him before reaching to hug Bella. "Your tent is already set, so how about you in and get some sleep." I nodded.

Paul came and got me. He helped me into the tent and pulled my backpack off. "Where's Jake?"

Right as I said that the tent's door unzipped and Jake slipped in. "Right here." I hugged him and then grabbed my food from Paul.

Mom packed everything for me. I read the note she left for me.

Me, Paul, and Jake all ate talking about random things. I was sleepy so Paul helped me change and get tucked in.

"Paul I'm cold." I whined in the middle of the night. Jake had left because Bella was making to much noise.

"Ok. I'm coming." Paul mumbled. I felt his warm body press against me. I snuggled closer to him and soon fell asleep, warm.

I woke up sweating. Paul was snoring in my ear and his arm was wrapped around me.

I poked Paul in the nose until he woke up. When he did I got changed and we ate the breakfast.

I clinged myself to Paul all morning. I didn't want him to leave. "Dementia what's wrong?"

I felt my eyes tear up and soon I couldn't hold them back. "I want you to stay." He sighed and picked me up. "I have to babygirl, but then you'll get to see me in a little."

I cried more. "What- what if you- you get hurt?" I hugged him closer. I didn't like the idea that my Paul could get hurt.

"Babygirl look at me." He pulled my head gently up. He cuffed both my cheeks and looked into my eyes. "I'm gonna be fine, I promise."

I nodded and my tears slowed. Paul planted a kiss on my forehead and hugged my body closer.

I noticed Edward and Bella close by, talking. A wolf came out from the bushes. "Seth!" I pulled Paul over to him.

One hand stayed on Paul's shorts while the other ran through Seth's fur. He was grunting as I petted him. Paul stood there laughing at us.

"Paul." I turned and saw Jake. "It's time to go." My hand left Seth and I moved closer to Paul. He sighed and reached down for me.

"I'll be back. I promise." I started tearing up again. Paul looked down to Seth. "Watch her." Seth nodded his big head. Paul walked me over to Edward and Bella.

I held on to him as he kissed my forehead one last night before handing me over to Edward.

Paul sighed and took off after Jake. I felt so empty without him here, "you'll see him soon Darling."

Seth came over to us and I reached out to pet him again.

"Its starting." Edward stated after a couple moments of silence. Bella sucked in air and looked at me. "Jake and Paul just got there."

I tensed up, "they're good." I nodded and so did Bella.

It was quiet for a minute before Edward paused. He handed me over to Bella and then turned to Seth.

"She's close. I can hear her thoughts. Seth go." I was confused. "What? What is it?" Bella asked pulling me closer.

"She knew I wasn't there. She knew you would be with me." Edward said. He pulled me and Bella close to him and half hide us behind his body.

I froze when I saw a boy around Paul's age walk out the woods. Edward started talking to him when a red headed lady jumped into a tree near by.

I was still frozen in Bella's arms. I didn't hear any of the words exchanged except...

"You're all going to die."
