Hurt (Part Two)

Kaizo stayed with Fang.

Boboiboy wanted to stay too but Kaizo refused. He wanted him to go home and rest. Besides, Kaiso needed to make sure Boboiboy didn't blame himself.

Kaizo went near Fang and sat in the chair beside the bed, tears brimming up despite his wishes. He left him all alone so he would be the furthest one away from this mess.

Kaizo swallowed a lump and spoke, "Fang, It's my fault I wasn't with you. I'm sorry.. I-" his voice died down in a silent sob.

Now that no one was around, he couldn't stop himself from breaking down.

"I let you be here all alone.. You don't know h-how much worried I w-was. I'm sorry that I.. I never sa-said anything. I' sorry for being so... c-cruel to you. I love you Fang. Always had, always would." As he spoke his voice filled with more sobs while his mind flashed more detestable memories. Kaizo shut his eyes in a vain attempt to stop them.

"B-brother?" Kaizo blinked at the sound, Fang.

Fang saw his brother's tear strained eyes, betraying his expectations.

"Fang? Thank god.. Do you feel okay?" Kaizo whispered so as to not startle him.

Fang was confused. It was a matter of short time for Fang to regain his full conscious and said, "Big bro, you're crying. Was I out for years or wha...?" his weak complaint was cut off by Kaizo.

"Fang do you even have any idea how worried I was ? Do you know the shitty thoughts I got when you were unconscious..? Did you even think your heroic stunt would scare me?? I was so scared to lose you when I just got to you. Why would you just.." his reddish eyes again brimmed up in tears. He made no effort to containing himself this time.

To say Fang was shocked would be an understatement. But he had an idea. Kaizo helped him sit up. Coughing slightly he looked at his elder brother.

"Brother, do you know how much I love you? I love you these much" he stretched his arms wide, holding them up as wide as he could.

It made Kaizo chuckle. "And do you know how much I love you?" He did the same. But Kaizo was older than him, so his arms were much wider than Fang.

"Is your wide arms motioning me that I love less than you?" Fang said pouting and trying to hold his smile.

"Nope. They resembling I love you double than you love me. If you want I can prove to you by showing I can make you laugh right now."

No. Fang wouldn't take his arrogacy.

"Then prove," As if making him laugh was impossible.

Kaizo hands were by his sides in an instant. Fang knew what was coming but oof-

He started tickling him. Fang forgot his brother knew all of his ticklish spots. Damn him!

They both laughed hard. Kaizo was careful not to shake him too much. It became a light atmosphere from the dull and gloomy sad one. Kaizo stopped as Fang was hysterically saying he couldn't breath so stop stop.

"See? I made you laugh,"
"Yeah. I have no words-" Fang giggled.

Kaizo took his hands seemingly tiny in contrast to his. He looked him in the eyes with sincerity, "Fang I promise I'll always look after you no matter what. I'm not gonna be that stone of a captain anymore. I'll always love you li'l bro."

"I know you will, big bro"

Kaizo hugged him and held him rather tightly. Fang snuggled into his warmth. Fang knew Kaizo would always love him and he knew Kaizo wasn't aware of what he had done before. Now that he realized everything and made a promise, Fang knew he'd keep it forever. That he'd protect him forever.
