BOBOIBOY'S POV

I always thought my friends are my everything. They are the ones who supported me no matter what.

So when your best friend tells you that they don't know you, you would only think of one thing.

It hurts..... overwhelmingly.

And still I faked my emotions and forced out a smile and sat beside him on the wide reiling of the balcony. Because, I had promised myself and Ying that I would protect Fang no matter what. Even if it meant that he had forgotten all those memories.

Because Fang had already slipped into oblivion.

At that time, I strangely felt nothing.  As I sat beside him with a smile plastered to my face, I just thought of one thing.

This is it. He might never remember us again. Those silly rivalry or being proud of getting more popularity, his silly antics... everything might as well be forever gone. But a question kept ringing in my inner thoughts. Is it okay to even go along with it? Or should I just give it all up?

".....Who's Fang? Well, I'm Pang and as far as I know we haven't met, have we?" Fang says unbeknownst to the fact.

"I'm sorry. Didn't really mean to startle you," I replied with a small smile, "But yeah umm.. you kinda knew me."

"Did I? I'm not known for forgetting faces,"

"Yeah you knew me. We were rivals."

"....." Fang kept quiet for a bit, "I'm sorry I couldn't recognize you. Were we... Friends?"

"Yep,"

"Really? I never had any friends." suddenly he leaned forward  clutching his chest. His eyes shut tightly and he winced. I held his other hand for support but my inner side screamed in panic, eyes wide with worry.

"You k-know.... I... shouldn't believe you but... it feels right." he said. He looked at me and smiled even though his eyes looked strained.

I looked away, trying my hardest not to cry.

This was one of the consequences of Dark phrase. They start to forget. Some did recover their memories but mostly didn't. He might even forget more than he had.

"Pang, please let's go back. You need rest," I said with urgency. Fang nodded and moved his body to step on the floor. I helped him to his room.

Before I placed him on his bed, he looked at me sleepily and whispered, "You can call me Fang. I like that name."

I smiled, "Okay. Night, Fang."

I reached my room and closed the door. It felt as if I had lost all me strength. Leaning against the door, I navigated my thoughts with shaky breaths. And then I broke down.

'Kaizo, where the fuck are you?'

At this point, I was worried over the trio of them. Kaizo and Kiara weren’t back yet. Even if we spent hours on Earth, it was barely an hour here. But it had already reached midnight.

There was a knock on the door. I wiped my eyes and stood up from the door to open it.
