Draco was sitting in the same hospital bed he has been in for a week. He's grown quite grotesque of the bland scenery around him and couldn't wait the be up and about again. The doors opened to the wing and in popped the person he was expecting.

"Hey, Draco. How are you feeling today?" The boy walked over, sitting beside him on the rock solid mattress.

"Much better, thank you." He smiled. Their relationship has been going on like this for a while now. Just simple conversations, a bit of chatter and discussing what homework they had. Sometimes, Draco would even help Harry on his potions.

"Madam Pomfrey told me you can get out of here today." Harry smiled. "Do you need any help?" He quirked an eyebrow, very well knowing Draco hadn't been on his feet in a week.

"I'm fine, thank you very much." Draco said proudly. He threw his legs over the side of the bed, slipping off. He wobbled slightly, grabbing Harry's arm to regain balance.

"Mhm, sure you don't." The Gryffindor hummed in in amusement.

"Oh, shut up and help me, you git..." Draco mumbled. He wrapped an arm around Harry's shoulder and proceeds to limp forwards while Harry puts an arm around his waist for extra measures. "Thank you..." Draco says quietly, blushing from how close their bodies were. Harry chuckles under his breath beside him.

"No problem... prat." The gave each other challenging looks, but continued to walk to first class. It took a few struggles, with Draco stepping on Harry's feet a few times, but they made it. Once the doors were open, almost every eye was on them. They awkwardly sat in the very back row together, trying to keep their attention off of everyones stares. Some of the students started whispering to each other, stealing glances at Harry and Draco, making it all the more nerve wracking.

"Alright students, settle down." The professor walked in, automatically silencing the class. And so astronomy class had begun. Draco had zoned out again looking out the window at passing birds and first years in flying class with madam Hooch. Harry had stared at Draco, watching his soft facial expression, making him smile. "Draco." the teacher called out, snatching both the boys attentions. Some of the students turned to look at the two with either apologetic or sly expressions. "What is the estimated percentage of which we can detect of matter outside our atmosphere, and what is the rest of the percentage called?" the professor quirked an eyebrow.

"F-five percent, sir. And t-the matter we cannot discover would be called Dark m-matter and or energy..." Draco answers shyly, stuttering along the way.

"Very good." The astronomy teacher turned back to his board and continued the lesson. Draco heaved a sigh of relief, earning a congratulatory pat on the shoulder from Harry. They smiled at each other, earning a few cooes from the girls in front of them. They blushed and turned away from one another. Before they knew it, class was over. And once again, Harry was Helping Draco to his feet.

"Wait, Harry." Draco stopped them. "Next class Slytherins have with Ravenclaws. Shouldn't you be off to yours?" He questions, to which Harry laughed.

"I arranged with Headmistress to assign my classes with you to watch over you, just in case you feel queasy again." They smiled at each other and started walking. Herbology was next and mrs. Sprout was delighted to see Harry, who set Draco on a giant upside down pot for a seat.

"Settle down, everyone." she chirped in her normal cheery voice. "Would you all take out the seedlings you have in your pots. Now, can anyone tell me what these are called?" She asks. Draco took out his and mumbled something under his breath. "Yes, miz Amythria." She referred to one of the ravenclaws with their hand raised.

"It's Alchemilla, Mis. Commonly known as 'lady's mantle' and in the rosaceae family." The girl said with pride.

"Very well done, Amy. Now, if you would, turn to chapter two-hundred and thirty seven in your books. We will begin." And on droned yet another boring class. All of which Draco had already learned, so he simply followed instructions and played in the dirt with a stick. An hour later, they were off to another class. History of magic. Not much happened for the next few classes. They had transfiguration and then... Potions... Draco's favorite, but Harry absolutely hated it. Not the class in itself, but it always reminded him of his deceased... 'friend' if you can put it that way, Snape. He was always so cruel to Harry, but it was understandable. He was the offspring of the love of his life, only with another man. Not to mention he was the insider on the dark lord's side. There wasn't a way out of that. They entered the dungeons and hooked a left before Slytherin entrance, walking into the dim room of potions making.

"Hello students, welcome back. Now today, class. We will be making the potion, amortentia. Now, I know what you all must be thinking. Yes yes, you brewed this potion in the following year in attempts to achieve the liquid luck. But this is a simple exercise to see how far you've grown within your studies, and what needs to be improved. Now, without further ado, your ingredients are on your desk in front of you. Go." And off the class went. Hermione and Ron kept throwing Harry glances, unnoticed by the boy too busy bickering with his newly found friend.

"For merlin's sake, Potter. It says cut the beatle, not crush it!" The young malfoy groaned.

"Draco, you can throw a sissy fit every time I bend the rules." Harry rolled his eyes and continued focusing on what the 'half-blood princes' book said. It only made him more depressed thinking of his loss.

"Honestly, Harry. You're going to drive me up a wall." Draco gave an exasperated sigh, giving up on his hopeless partner.

"Good. Maybe it you go high enough, you could see your ego..." Harry mumbled under his breath. Draco whipped his head to the side, glaring at him.

"What was that." He said coldly.

"Nothing Dear." Harry said mockingly. It caught Draco by surprise, rendering him speechless with a clearly red hue spreading across his face. He turned his attention back to his potion and nudged Harry playfully.

"Gryffindor brat..." Draco murmured.

"Slytherin prat." Harry countered. The rest of the brewing was in silence, both of them working hard at perfection. Harry, of course, was done first with his little shortcuts. Yet another cauldron exploded, and I'm sure you could guess who's. Draco just stared at Harry's potion unresponsive.

"How did you get done so quickly?!" He whispered in shock, as he had finished minutes after the Gryffindor. Harry simply shrugged with a straight face and smiled.

"Well done class." The professor piped after everyone had finished and put the lid on their pots. The teacher walked around inspecting each one. He was drawing closer and closer to Harry and Draco. The boys stood with pride shown on their faces, waiting to see whose was best so the one could boast about it to the other. They looked at one another, playful smiles across their faces. It. Was. On.
