I couldn't take it. Seeing him with her, it was unbearable.
I like Katniss Everdeen as much as the next guy, but I like her more. Apparently not more than Gale. I remember when Katniss and I were a thing. Actually, that was just a dream.
Everyone had a date to the dance at school EXCEPT me.
Around this time, all the 6th graders in all the districts collide.
There was Marvel and Glimmer, Cato and Clove, Paten and Foxface, and Gale and Katniss.
I needed to tell Katniss that I liked her, because it's girls ask guys. I'm pretty sure Katniss hasn't asked him yet.
Marvel and Glimmer weren't exactly 'love birds,' but they still kind of likes eachother and they were in the same district.
Cato and Clove, they loved each other. Right now, they were hugging and being all lovely. Just wish that was me and Katniss.
Paten and Foxface were the only couple who dated from different districts. They were an okay couple, but you can't get everything.
And as I said earlier Katniss and Gale... Whatever...
I'm only covering the surface of couple in our grade.
Katniss and I actually lived a couple of houses away from her, while Gale lived two blocks away.
I usually walk home with Katniss, because were technically still friends.
Finally, school was out and I walked Katniss out.
"Oh, hi Peeta." She said. She looked down at her feet than back at me. She hates me now.
"Hey, Katniss. Can I tell you something?" I said. Now I was gonna tell her I liked her.
"Yeah?" Katniss answered. It was a pretty far walk to our house.
"I like you," I said quickly. I looked away, thinking she would hate me now.
"Really...?" Katniss answered. Wait, she isn't mad at me.
"Because I like you too...will, will you go to the dance with me?" She said. Yes! Yes!
Suddenly, someone moved my shoulders back and forth.
"Peeta?" Katniss said. It was all a dream.
We walked down the street to the bus stop because our house was in District 12, and the school was in District 6.
Gale followed us to the bus stop.
"Will you sit with me on the bus?" I asked Katniss.
"Uh, sorry I'm sitting by Gale." She said.
I would sit in the back for now and wait for my younger sister to come on. Again.
"Peeta! Peeta!" My sister, Gillian yelled as she moved through the isles. Once she came over, I lifted her up and sat her in my lap. I could see Katniss looking down the isle looking at me. She smiled.
"Peeta, isn't that Katniss?" Gillian asked. I shook my head. "Isn't her sister Primrose in my class?"
"Yeah," I said as I saw Prim run down the isle. She hugged Katniss, then came down and sat by Gillian.
"Hey Prim!" Gillian said. Katniss looked at me, then our sisters. Gale turned around too.
"Well, than go!" I heard Glimmer yell.
"Maybe I will!" Marvel said as he got up. He walked up and made his way to the back.
Glimmer had been my second crush.
"Hey," I said to Marvel. He turned around and looked at me.
"Hey, Peeta, right?" He said.
"Yeah," I said.
When the bus stopped at the last stop, District 12, Gale and Katniss got off, then Prim, Gillian, and me.
I forgot, Prim is staying over tonight.
"Prim we're gonna have tons of fun!" Gillian said.
I saw Katniss wave good-bye to Gale. I ran up to her.
"Hey, Katniss." I said.
"Hey, I'm just gonna drop off Prim's things." Katniss said.
Yes, I'm going to make my move. Tell her that I loved her. Well, I guess love isn't the word but still I liked her a lot.
"Okay, see you later I guess?" I said. I waved good-bye to her.
"Hahaha, she hates me," I whispered as I saw her ignore me.
