Robinstar slowly stepped out of his den, taking in the sun to warm his fur. Robinstar sat down in front of his den which was a hollowed out fallen log with a sheet of faded green moss covering the entrance and looked around camp. The dawn patrol had left a while ago and would most likely be returning soon. He looked to his right which consisted of the tall tree where he called clan meetings for various reasons and the elder's den which only occupied one elder who was lying outside swept away into a deep sleep by the warmth of the sun. The elder's fur was brown with black tabby stripes and his eyes were a fierce yellow. The elder known as Beastfur had served his clan to the fullest, known as the "lunar beast" throughout the clans. Three long claws marks ran down his side while half his tail had been bitten off when he protected the last medicine cat, Smallears from a badger. Parts of the tom's ears were torn from fighting and defending his clan. Robinstar and many warriors often thank the elder or his hard work. Beastfur never said much but slept his days away instead.

A couple tail lengths away from the elder's den sat the apprentice's made out of sticks, leaves and moss. There were only four apprentices all of which are close to getting their warrior names. Robinstar would have to speak to their mentors soon and access their progress himself. One of the apprentices, Goldpaw stretched her way out of the den, yawning as she tried to blink the sleep from her eyes. The apprentice's fur was a light orange with white underbelly and some white on her back, her eyes were a golden orange color. She sat down outside the den and looked at the sky. Robinstar guess the other apprentices were either on dawn patrol or still sleeping. Across from the apprentice's den was the warrior's den. Two cats were squeezing their way out of the den. Vanillapelt, a creamy yellow tom with golden eyes and a silver blue she-cat with blue eyes known as Silverwind had made their way out of the den and sat down to enjoy the morning. Goldpaw trotted over to the two whom were her parents. The three talked softly to each other.

Robinstar looked over at the Medicine cat den which sat a tail length away from the warrior's den. The den was made out of stones which piled in a way that formed a very small cave like structure. Moss was draped in the entrance. Pathwalker was Tree clan's medicine cat. The tom has a gray tabby pelt with golden green eyes. Next to the medicine cat den and Robinstar's den was the nursery where queens and kits stayed. Tree clan currently had three queens and five kits. Robinstar was thankful for his clan to have so much prosperity. Tree clan would remain strong for many seasons to come.

A small black furred head caught the leader's attention as it stuck out of the nursery. Fierce green eyes glazed around the camp but not taking notice of Robinstar. The kit slithered out of the den like a snake and slowly started making its' way over to the apprentice's den. Robinstar crouched down and followed the kit, careful not to make a sound. Even the kit's short tail wiggled like a snake, not making a noise. Goldpaw and her parents had taken noticed and held back purrs of amusement. Halfway to the apprentice's den Goldpaw let out the laugh she had been holding back cause the black kit to stop and look at her in confusion. "Never get distracted on a mission Snakekit." Robinstar whispered and in response the kit jumped and spun around to face him. Giggling could be heard from behind them. Robinstar looked over his shoulder to see his other son, Dustkit sitting in front of the nursery. Dustkit had blotchy brown and black fur with dark, bright blue eyes.

"He got you brother!" The young kit giggled as he ran over to them.

"Dad gets me everyday." Snakekit pouted.

"What kind of leader would I be if I let a kit get past me?" Robinstar sat up.

"Still!" Snakekit grumbled.

"You did pretty good for a kit your age. Your technique was good but you forgot to look behind you and you got distracted too easily." Robinstar told his son.
