Summers POV
Mystic falls had definitely changed. It once was the nosy streets of music and laughter but now is clouded with roaring engines and people screaming at each other. The 90's was definitely the best year for Mystic Falls. The grill had just been built and the business was booming. Speakeasies were everywhere and everyone was happy. You did not have to worry about murderous supernatural creatures or getting punched at the bar. Love wasn't as easy to find but it was the best type of love. You went out on dates, the man would bring you roses and even ask you to dance. His friends would respect as your friends would for him. It's not like now where you cannot be seen with another guy or women without people thinking your having an affair. I wish it was like that.

The second day I was in mystic falls, Damon and I went to check out Augustine. We figured that after Damon had gotten out the second time that it shut down and fortunately we were right. No ones was there. The halls were empty, the constant screams of the victims could not be heard, only the sound of the birds singing and calling to each other. It didn't look like it was once a murderous he'll hold.

I walked down the steps and into the cell rooms. Damon, Enzo and I once layer in these cells waiting for the next torturous treatment. I pushed open the cell door slowly, all the memories started flooding into my mind, all the times Damon and I would swear to kill the people that were doing this. The many times my sarcastic tone got me into even more shit then I was already in.

I saw the marks on the wall that I had carved in with a stone that I punched out of the wall. It was my name and the date of the time I first arrived and I did that every time I arrived. I traced the wall with my finger tips lightly.

"Damon let's get out of here, I can't stand one more minute in this shit hole!"
"Alright, lets go to the grill, there's nothing alcohol can't fix!"
"True!"

Damon and I walked back up the stairs and it was clear that I wanted to get out of there. We finally got out and jeez I forgot how many levels that place had. On my way back up I walked through the surgery room I was always taken to, I could see blood stains on the floor which were no doubt mine. I could imagine me on the table lying in a pool of my own blood. The surgeon would say to his companions my progress and how long it took my cells to regenerate.

I got out of the room and finally the warm fresh air hit my face. Damon and I got into his car and made our way into the grill

I sat at the bar and ordered a bourbon. It was always what I ordered. I downed the first one and compelled the waiter to keep them coming. I sat at the bar with the drink in my hand thankful that I was still alive.

That night I went home and FaceTimed Theo. I wasn't drunk so I told him about Augustine. He didn't say much but after I told him he ended the call. He's been off with me for a few weeks and I want to know why. Maybe I should asked derek? Or Peter?

I finally updated this book!!!! I'm sorry I haven't updated in such a long time but I did!!  Let me know what you want to happen next!!
