Chapter 2~My Time At Augustine

Summer's POV

So you guys are probably wondering what Augustine actually is. Augustine is an organisation that uses the supernatural as a science experiment. I do not know for certain weather I was the first person there, I probably wasn't because of all the legends and tales that I read about it.

There really is no words to describe how horrifying  my time was at Augustine. My life before Augustine was perfect I had finally gotten a lead on my old family and I had also sorted a disagreement with one of my mothers.

~Flashback (1963)

"Mother I'm sorry I'm not the daughter you want me to be but this is who I am and I'm not going to change for you!"

"Your right your not the daughter I want you to be and to be honest I wonder why I took you in at such a young age, yes I don't love you in the way that I love my real family!" My mother put a hand to her mouth realising what she had said.

"I'm so sorry Summer I didn't mean to say that!"

"No your right, I'm not your real daughter, I'm the one you wish you had never met!" I screamed with tears quickly welling up in my eyes.

I ran out of the room and slammed the door as hard as I could behind me. I grabbed a bottle of bourbon from the cupboard.

"Summer what are you doing with that?" asked Elijah

"What do you think? Oh that's right I'm going to drink it!"

"I'm sure mother didn't mean what she said earlier she loves you in the same way she loves us!"

"You see Elijah if you really paid attention to the way she treats me you would know that she doesn't love me in the same way and she also doesn't care about me, I'm the daughter she wish she never took in and to be honest I wish she killed me when she had the choice, now I'm going out for a while and your going to leave me alone!"

"You know that's not true!"

"Whatever Elijah I'm done with this family!"

I walked out of the front door with the bottle of drink in my hand. I took many sips of the bottle and if I wasn't a hybrid I'm pretty sure I would be drunk by now.

I ended up in a bar. Teenagers were partying every where. I slipped my way through the crowd and I ended up at the back of the building.

"Wow didn't think my sister was into teenage raves!" Klaus said

"Yeah well you thought wrong!"

"Come on Summer come back to the house an =d we can sort this argument with mother!"

"Do you know what Klaus? I couldn't give a shit about what she has to say she said she didn't love me and she also said that I'm different in a bad way so you know what if that's not a hint to stay away from here I don't know what is!"

"Summer just come back and hear what she actually has to say!"

"Fine but if she says anything bad I'm leaving , I'm going back to beacon hills for the rest of my life got it?"

"Got it!"

Klaus and I walked back to the house. I returned back and everyone was gathered in the front room.

"Summer thank god your back! I'm so sorry for what I said I didn't mean any of it and I'm not asking you to forgive me straight away but can we at least work at this!"

"Of course we can mother but I just need take some time away from you, so I'm going to stay in hotel up town tonight and Beka if you would like to come you are more than welcome! "

"Thanks for the offer but I'm going to the bar with Nik and Stefan tonight so I will not be able to join you tonight!"

I grabbed a duffle bag full of clothes and made my way downtown. I was walking through the woods because I decided that I needed to feed before I went.

As I was feeding on the deer that I had hunted down, I heard voices in the distance. Without thinking I sprinted away but they managed to tranquilise me before I could get away. I tried to run a bit more but my legs wouldn't move any further. It felt like I was drowning.

~End of Flashback~

Anyway Augustine was full of crappy people.

4 days into my time at Augustine and it was time for my first torturing session.

One of the doctors came through to my cell, I was too weak to do anything, they picked me up and dragged me into a surgery room.

"patient 21034 how are you today?"

"Like you care!"

"Fiesty one, I'm going to ask you to not scream but that will be impossible for you.!"

"What are you doing to me?"

"You will find out!"

There was a needle poking into my arm taking pints of blood out of my body. With each bag of blood they took I could feel my body getting weaker and weaker.

I watched in fear as the doctor brought a needle to my eyes and started to carve a piece away. I screamed in pain but it only came out as a whisper. He made a few other cuts just below my liver and felt every bit of what he did to me. The cold hard blade slid across my body with ease, a trail of dark red blood in pursuit behind it.

Sweat dripped off my body and my vision became clouded with black spots starting appear. The whole time I was with the lunatic, all I could think about was the last thing my mother said to me. It haunted my mind. I wanted my family to find me but I knew there was no way they were going to.

After hours of being tortured they finally took me back to my cell but something was different. There was a muscular figure lurking in the shadows of the cell next to mine. They threw me back in my cell and I waited for the guard to leave the room.

"Who are you!" I barely said

"I'm Lorenzo St John gorgeous whats yours?"

"Summer Mikealson"

"How did you get into this place!"

"I don't actually remember! What about you?"

"I pissed someone off, ended up in here"

"I can already tell we are going to get a long!

"How do you know that gorgeous?"

"I don't know I just do!"

After I met Lorenzo I finally had the feeling of hope back. I had forgotten about what had happened to me in the past 4 days and I finally had the company of someone like myself. That was my Augustine experience, obviously it was a lot worse but it brings up way to many horrible memories of the time I was there and I don't really feel like re living them. That's also how I met my other best friend Lorenzo. I will tell you more about myself later. See ya!
