Chapter 4:
Stein walks out of the Death Room. Soul and everyone go to Maka’s room. Sprit falls asleep next to Maka. Maka is awake reading a book one handed.
Maka’s POV:
I know what is wrong with me. Papa told me before he went to sleep. I can’t believe Stein can’t do anything about the poison. What am I going to do or what am I going to tell everyone. I have been so tried lately and I don’t want to go to sleep.
“Papa, what am I going to do”, I said waking him up.
“You just need to stay in bed and rest”, he said looking at me. He looked like he was about to cry.
“Papa, can you get me some ice cream please”, I said looking at him with big eyes.
“Sure honey”, he said standing up. “I will be back in 15 minutes ok honey”, he said looking at me. “Don’t let anyone in, ok”, he said.
“Yes, papa”, I said looking a little upset. Stein walks in the room when papa left to get my ice cream.
“Let me see those wounds”, he said cheerfully. He took off the bandages and looked at my other wounds. They had healed up some but not enough for me get up and walk around.
“Did Sprit tell you not to let anyone else”, he said looking me in the eye.
“Yes”, I said looking back at my book.
“You can have no more the 2 people in her with you”, Stein said with a smile.
“I want to see Tsubaki and Soul first”, I said happy knowing I could see other people.
“Ok I will send them in”, he said about to walk out of the room. The next thing I knew I was seeing the witch who had hurt me and soul.
“Die you witch”, I said standing up. I fell to the floor bleeding from my arm. Stein ran over to me and helped me in to bed. Soul had been at the door since I had my scene.
“Maka, are you ok”, he ran over to me. He held my hand and looks me in the eye.
“Thanks. Soul”, I said looking in to his eyes. Then he leaned down and kissed me. “What was that for”, I said looking up at him.
“I love you, Maka”, he said kissing me on the forehead.
“Soul, can I speak to you”, said Stein walking over to Soul?
“Sure”, Soul said walking out to the hall. As Stein followed him out to the hall. I was still in shock when Stein left. When Stein walked out Papa walked in with mine and his ice cream.
“Thanks, Papa”, I said smiling.
Soul’s POV:
I can’t believe that I just kissed Maka. What am I doing thinking she likes me as much as I love her. Plus Kid is so in love with her. What am I going to do I said to myself.
“Soul, Maka is too weak to be handling all that is happening between you and her. Maka has poison in her right arm and it is attack her soul and body. This poison can have her to a new weapon or worse kill her”, Stein said looking at Maka’s chart again. I had nothing to say. I was in shock from what he just said.
“So your saying I can lose her”, I said tearing up.
“There are only two things we can do. 1. Drain the blood from her arm and give new blood, but the problem with that is she would need a new weapon. 2. You can get the antidote from the witch, but you would have to have someone with you”, he said looking me in the eye.
“I‘m going to have Black*star come with me”, I said about to walk away.
“Be careful, Soul”, he said as he turned to go see Maka. “I will. And tell Kid to take care of her”, I said running to find Blackstar. I have to save Maka. Don’t leave me now.
Kid’s POV:
I finally get to see Maka today. I mean I haven’t seen her sense the big battle. I bet she is still as beautiful as ever. I brought her some flowers and chocolates.
“Hey Stein, can I see Maka today”, I said tapping Stein on the shoulder.
“Sure, but just for an hour she needs to rest. Ok”. He said looking down at me.
“Yes sir”, I said running in to Maka’s room.
“How are you Maka”, I said with a smile on my face. But when I looked at her again she was bleeding from her arm.
“Get Stein”, she said passing out. I ran to find Stein but I couldn’t fine him. I ran back to Maka’s room and wrapped her arm up to stop the bleeding.
“There you go beautiful”, I said looking at my work. Then it felt like someone told me to lean down and kiss her and before I knew it I was kissing her soft lips. When I came up for air I notice what time it was. “I have to go Maka, beautiful”, I said running out the door. I have to see what father was going to tell me.
Maka’s POV:
Oh My God. They both just kissed me. First it was Soul and then it was Kid. What am I going to do I love them both. What do I do.

Tsubaki walks in to Maka’s room with Blackstar kicking down to door. Soul rides around Death City to find a really good present for Maka and looking for Blackstar. Kid speaks to his father in the Death room. Stein is going to see Lord Death in the Death room after Kid.
