Chapter 3:
Soul’s POV:
I woke up with Blackstar sleeping in the chair next to me.
“Blackstar, how long were you here man”, I said nudging him.
“Sense you and Maka got hurt”, he said sitting up and with sadness in his voice.
“What’s wrong man”, I said looking at him worried. “Can I see Maka? I need to tell her something”, I said getting ready to go see her. I need to tell her I love her now.
“She hasn’t woken up yet”, he said looking down. I thought to myself she can't die I need to tell her how I feel.
“She is still in surgery man no one can see her. It’s killing me, Tsubaki, Liz, Patty, and Kid”, he said still not looking me in the eye.
“Well what am I going to do now”, I said lying back in my bed.
“You need to rest”, said Stein as he walked in. “Is Maka out of surgery Stein” I said looking at him.
“They are closing her up now”, he said with a half-smile. “You can see her after about 3-4 hours. Ok?” he said looking at my wounds. “Now rest up, Soul”, said he as I fell asleep.
Kid’s POV:
I can’t see Maka yet and it is tearing me apart. How can I just sit here and just wait to know if she is going to be ok.
“Kid, are you ok”, Tsubaki said looking down at me with a drink in her hand.
“Yeah. I just worried about Maka”, I said looking back down. Stein walked in to the room and look at everyone.
“Is Maka going to be ok Stein”, I said standing up.
“She will be fine. Everyone can go see her in a few hours”, Stein said. “Kid, can you get Sprit for me”, he said with his back turned.
“Yes, sir”, I said running down the hall. When I got to the Death Room I knocked on the door and enter slowly. “Sprit”, I said entering.
“Yes, kid”, he said turning around to look at me.
“Stein would like to talk to you about Maka”, I said.
“On my way”, he said running past me and knocking me down.
Stein’s POV:
“This worries me, the color in her arm is poison”, I said to myself.
“Stein you wanted to see me”, Sprit said panting.
“Yes look at this”, I said holding up Maka’s arm. “Why is it blue”, he said stepping a little closer.
“Poison from the witch. This poison is special. It is attacking Maka’s soul. This can kill her Sprit”, I said looking at him.
“Well can’t you just take it out of her”, he said going to hold Maka’s hand.
“That’s the problem. I can’t without harming her soul in the process. Which would need her to get a new weapon partner”, I said.
“Well as her father I say you do it”, he said standing up, still holding Maka’s hand.
“I need to talk to Soul and Lord Death”, I said walking to the door. “If she wakes up, tell her not to move her arm so much”, I said opening the door and closing it behind me.
Stein walks to death room to speak to Lord Death. Liz, Patty, Tsubaki, and Kid go to Soul’s room. Maka’s room has a sign on that says DO NOT ENTER WITHOUT PREMISON. Laughing comes from Soul’s room but little do they all know Maka is dying a slow death.
