"You know, it's real shit when your Maid of Honour is a million miles away!" Eleanor giggled as we made wedding plans via phone call. I was back in LA and she was in London with the boys, trying to plan the wedding."I know! I'm sorry! You know I'd be there if I could! One month left, El, and I'll be there for good!" I sighed. I'd been back in LA for a month, doing shows and interviews. I missed our group dearly, but I wasn't going to get to see any of them, not even Harry, for another month because they were recording a new album. Louis and Eleanor were getting married in France the weekend after I was scheduled to arrive in London.Louis and Eleanor both remembered the spur of the moment proposal on that wild night, and they both wanted to get married as soon as possible. Everyone was quite surprised, but extremely supportive. They were two of my best friends and I'd never seen them so happy. They weren't even stressing about their wedding. It was set to be right next to the Eiffel Tower. They'd wanted a small ceremony with only close friends and relatives. They'd managed to rent the whole area around the Eiffel Tower, so as to not have to be bothered by fans or paparazzi."This may be the slowest month of my life." Eleanor laughed and we continued to plan the reception.(1 month later)"Leah, hi!""Sign this for me, please?""Leah, I LOVE YOU!"Screams were waiting for me outside of LAX. My album had gone on sale a week ago and my fan base had multiplied. I took a few pictures, signed a few things, and hugged a few fans before hurrying inside to catch my plane to London.Ron and Spencer took me out to dinner the night before as a goodbye dinner.Ron had surprised me with a boquet of flowers and an open offer to a contract, which meant that if I ever wanted to work with Amtrex again, all I had to do was give him a call and he'd take me back. I was beyond excited at the news, but decided to wait until I saw Harry face to face to tell him.Spencer and his family promised to visit London soon, and we'd made a pact to always keep in touch. He'd been so good to me and had helped my career so much that I couldn't bare to think of life without his support. The dinner was bittersweet. I would miss the both of them and my career, but Harry was what I wanted now. He was where I belonged.I smiled as I boarded the plane. Here I was, going off to my future. I had never been more excited in my life."Leah, don't forget the flowers! Oh my God, who has the rings? Dani, do you have them? Perrie, Emma here hold my train!" Eleanor had been fretting all weekend. I loved her, but God, she'd turned into bridezilla. The rest of us girls completely understood and had tried to keep her calm, but she was just too stressed out.We made our way out of the hotel to gather by the aisle. I could hardly believe that the big day had finally arrived. It was late evening and the Eiffel Tower was lit up. The ceremony spaces was decorated simply, but elegantly. The setting was absolutely gorgeous.Emma and Niall were the first couple to head down the aisle. Louis, the priest, the ring bearer, and the flower girl were already positioned at the front. Perrie and Zayn followed, then Dani and Liam. Finally, Harry and I linked arms and made our way down the aisle."Can you get any more beautiful?" Harry whispered."Look who's talking!" I wagged my eyebrows at him, trying to be discreet, but Anne and Gemma both saw from their seats, and they began to giggle. Harry and I both turned red as we took our spots up front.Everyone rose to their feet as Eleanor and her father began to make their way down the aisle. She was breathtaking. Her fitted gown emphasized her already perfect figure while her long brown hair flowed down her back. I'm pretty sure I saw a tear in Louis' eye.As they got to the "I do's" I noticed Harry looking at me, smiling tenderly. I returned the smile, feeling warm on the inside. My heart fluttered as I took in the moment. I wished that Harry and I would one day have a moment like the one Louis and Eleanor were having. I removed my focus from Harry, remembering that I had Maid of Honour duties. The couple sealed the deal with a kiss and the crowd cheered.Once the formal ceremony was over, the bridal party hopped into limos to follow the bride and groom to a nearby garden. The rest of the guests were to follow as well.Harry intertwined his fingers with mine. "I was thinking, France is beautiful, and this is your first time here. So, why don't we stay a few extra nights? Since Louis' going off on his honeymoon, we won't be recording for a week, so we have time. But only if you want." Harry stuttered, nervously. In all my time knowing him, I'd never seen him so nervous."Of course we can stay in France for a few extra nights!" I squealed, kissing him. "I'm so excited, baby!"He grinned, seeming relieved that I'd agreed. He then continued normal conversation with the group in the limo, so I brushed of his momentary awkwardness and joined in on the group talk.Once we arrived at the reception hall, the party broke loose. The bridal party and the bride/groom were announced and everyone went straight for the dance floor. After a few sober songs and the usual first dance/daddy-daughter dance, the boys made their way to the bar and brought drinks to the dance floor for their ladies."Are you guys not going to eat?" Niall walked over with a beer in one hand and a roll in the other."Niall, we just got married! It's not time to eat, it's time to paaarty!" Louis shouted, holding his drink in the air.I loved how Louis and Eleanor made the wedding so carefree and not so routine. Guests could go right ahead and cut the cake themselves, or whatever. Louis and El just wanted to have fun with the people they loved. After a few too many drinks, a bridal party cake fight, an endless amount of crazy dance moves, and tons of laughs with our closest friends, the reception finally came to an end.The happy couple waltzed out to the limo that waited for them while all the guests waved around sparklers. After they were gone, I helped Louis' and Eleanor's mothers gather the gifts and load them into their cars. As soon as we were done I met Harry, Anne, Robin and Gemma outside."You two have fun?" Anne giggled. Harry and I nodded sleepily. "Looks like this weekend has worn you out! We won't keep you. Get back to the hotel and get some rest!""And have fun on your French adventure!" Robin waved as he and Anne left."So when are you two tying the knot?" Gemma elbowed Harry."Whenever Leah asks me." Harry grinned, cheekily."Hey!" I scoffed."Well from the looks you two were giving one another while walking down the aisle tonight, I'd say it's coming soon!" She laughed, calling us out. "Go do like mum said and get to the hotel and get some sleep!" She emphasized the word, making Harry turn red."Thanks, Gemma. We'll try to take that advice." He flicked her off and she punched him in the arm."Bye little brother. Bye Leah!" She kissed my cheek and waved goodbye."Well, everyone in your family thinks we don't sleep enough... How embarrassing." I giggled."It's only because we never see each other. They think we have to make up for it, so..." Harry trailed off."Have they joked on you about this?" My eyes widened when I realized he was serious."Before the ceremony Robin told me I looked tired. Then my mum added that you'd been back in town for only three days. So yeah, they pretty much think we're making up for lost time." Harry let out a laugh."Oh God." I laughed, too.Without saying a word, Harry hooked his arm around my neck and led me to the limo so we could get back to our hotel to get some much needed sleep.
