i dreaded going back to this damn school. i just wanted to curl up in a ball and hide. i didn't want to see dino at all, i didn't even want him breathing the same air as me.

i was combing my hair out when allen busted into my room. "hurry up so we can go." he said, angrily

i smacked my lips as i heard uncle jaren fussing at him. "you graduate in two months, allen!" he began "i don't want you ruining your li-"

"it's my life." allen yelled at him. "let me make my own mistakes."

i picked up my bookbag and walked into the hallway. i looked at uncle jaren, who
held his head down. "good kid gone to waste." i heard him say.

i tucked my lips in and ran down the carpeted steps. "i'm ready." i told allen, who was counting money.

he quickly looked up at me and handed me 150 dollars. "you and kim go to the mall or something & get your mind off of dinosau-i mean dino." he told me as we left the house and walked to his car.

"allen this is dirty mone-" he cut me off by glaring at me.

"take it and make it good then." he said, getting in the car. i stared at him through the windshield, causing him to honk his horn.

i jumped and got into the car, quickly. as we drove to school he kept looking over at me. "how's your grades ?" he asked me

"good, i ain't got no d's or f's. i should be asking you how yours look." i said, leaning back in the passenger seat.

"tuh." he began as we pulled into the student parking lot "don't even worry about my stuff."

"somebody need to."

"yo." kimberly smiled as her and shazam approached my locker.

"hey hey hey." i sighed, closing my locker and leaning against it.

"you good?" shazam asked me.

"better than eve-"

"my fellow niggas." pac smiled as he walked up to us.

"wassup, bald man?" kim laughed, making pac mug her

"but i got hair all on my dic-" shazam cut him off.

"the hell man. don't nobody wanna hear about your public hairs." he complained

"i-it's pubic." i chuckled. "where's your brother?" i asked, with no emotion on my face.

"bump that, it's public." he waved me off. "he stayed home today. he wasn't feeling the whole school thang."

"hmph." i said to myself. i looked over at kim, who was messing with her long acrylics.

"need a damn dictionary." pac spat at shazam.
