"halle that's fucked up." i told her as i ranted on about dino and pebbles .

"the good thing is you can make your move!" she said as she shook me.

"ugh i don't know." i began as i scratched my neck and watched the bad ass kids mess around in lunch.

pac, g.i. & larenz wasn't in attendance today. i heard they got some bad hangovers. so that's leaves halle and i sitting by ourselves.

"i bet you he be at home mopping ar-" i started to say, until halle spit her apple juice out.

"oh my fuck." i said as i wiped my arm off "that's fucking nasty, m-"

"shut the hell up and look!" she said as she turned my head in the direction of dino.

he had a girl sitting on his lap & another whispering in his ear. i shook my head in disapproval.

"he going through the ho phase, lili." halle began "it'll be over in no time."

i watched him interact with the girls & my heart flustered with irritation. just as i was about to get up and leave shazam approached us with the new girl.

"kim, this is halle and aaliyah." he said, introducing us

"hi." halle smiled blissfully

i waved awkwardly and she waved back. "so this the girl you was talking about?" she asked shazam

my eyebrows furrowed in confusion and halle looked at me, shrugging.

"uh, yeah." he said as he rubbed his neck. "let's go over here." he said quickly he grabbed her hand & walked away.

"what the fuck was that about?" halle asked with an attitude

"i don't know." i sighed as the dismissal bell rang.

the rest of the day had been really awkward. allen has ditched the rest of the day & said he'd be back before the last bell, that nigga lied.

i sat on the bench and looked at the gray cloudy sky.

"you sure you gone be alright?" halle asked me as she looked at the red car infront of her.

"i'll be fine, go have fun with you chicago baby." i homed "i don't wanna intrude."

she was about to speak, but the guys from the party honked his horn, rushing her.

"love you lili, call me!" she yelled as she ran to his car.

i waved as they pulled off, leaving me and a few other kids who stayed after school outside.

i sighed loudly and crossed my arms over my chest. i felt a trickle of rain fall on me & i groaned.

i got up to try to get back in the school, but a staff member stopped me on their way out.
