Anyway here is the thing, someone accused (not exactly accused but they pointed it out) me of copying Anna Todd's book After's work. I have read that book but it has been so long and I didn't exactly remember its content so I went back to the book to see what's this fuss about and found that 'Romira' indeed has few moments where it seems like the other book.
Now here is the fact the only part which were common are pretty usual and normal stuff, like going to a party, playing truth or dare, having a drunken kiss, that's it. These stuffs are so common that you'd find it in almost every book, it just comes naturally to a writer's mind when they are trying to portrait a college life. I don't think having few of scenes similar mean I've copied them.
I might have read a book and liked some ideas from that book and it stayed somewhere at back of my mind and they came out when I'm writing my own book but that doesn't mean I have copied that book. For example I have read a book where characters kissed under starlight and I liked it, hence I used the aspect in my book with a bit of change. So now would that mean I copied that book? Is kissing under stars isn't so common as I thought?
I have written my whole book from my imagination and word power. My book is a lot different than any other book on wattpad or elsewhere because I, as any other author, believe that my book is unique and I'm (pardon my language) fucking proud of it! Anyone who thinks otherwise can shove their opinions up their 'you know where'!!
*Exhales* Rant over!

Akira
Nervousness rises through my nerves when car stops in front of a big house. I can easily hear music thumping from where we are. Getting out, we both make our way to front door as I look around, there are many people on foyer too. Pushing past them we reach to a big double door which is open.
I let out a shocked gasp as a drunk boy collides me, "Hey girly." He slurs, he smells disgusting.
I lean away from him, cringing. Sydney pushes him away from me, "Fuck off."
Before dragging me by wrists, she gives me an apologetic look, "C'mon babe."
More sweaty body are in our way as we pass through them. I glance about to see, plenty of people stumbling around the dance floor, some are on couch, making out while some are flirting, catching up or whatever.
