I went straight back to the office once I dropped my father off and bought three coffees before I went to the top floor to meet the twins again. Sure I learned some interesting information but I had to keep up appearances and that meant I had to do my job as an assistant. When I got to their office I was a little perplexed at what I saw and also a little annoyed. It was obvious the twins didn't separate very often, both shared a desk and sat next to each other to share a computer. They acted in sync as they wrote down notes, took phone calls and ran a hand through their hair.

"Aiden," I held out a coffee to the one on the left and turned to hand one to the other twin, "Alexander..." then I dropped a bag in front of them, "Cream and sugar is in the bag."

They blinked at me and I sighed, they did everything at the same time. "I'll look over the schedule for today and I'll be back with how we're going to handle today."

I left the office and went towards a desk that had my father's name on it, thankfully everything was neatly tucked away and I could find today's agenda with ease. They had a lot to do, especially before lunch. It would be easier if I got both to go to different meetings at the same time, why did my father keep them together at all times?

Once I had both of their schedules written down I started writing notes down for each meeting they had so they could keep up and wrote questions down for them to ask the other party to clarify details I realized my father missed. If the twins had an issue separating then keeping them focused was probably going to be hard, these notes should help them in a lot of ways.

After I was finished I put both sets of notes in separate folders and sent their schedules to their phones before going to see them myself.

"Alright Aiden, we'll start with you." I handed him a folder and he started looking right away and Alexander started to lean to look at it too, "That's not for you Alexander, I'll tell you your schedule in a moment. Now Aiden you'll be going to your first meeting at the hotel at 9am, you will be staying there for the other meetings before lunch. At lunch time you will meet back here." then I handed Alexander his notes, "Alexander you will have your first meeting at 8:30am at a building a block away. Then you'll go to brunch and meet with a client who wants to start a project with us. You'll have two other meetings before returning here at lunch time."

"You're separating us?" Aiden looked at his schedule and then at Alexander's, "Why can't we do everything together? We never go to anything alone."

"Some of these meetings aren't able to be pushed off to a later date, both of you are needed to go to different meetings so we can fit everything into today." I crossed my arms and glared at the two of them looking depressed, "There are two boss's, there is no need for you both to go to everything together. It's important that you two can work separately but collaborate together. While at lunch you two will share your notes and talk together on how to handle each situation."

"I'm not going without my brother." Aiden glared at me, "So fix the schedules. Now."

My face twitched as he ordered me to do something, no way in hell was I going to listen to him. I was an assistant, not a slave. We were co-owners to this company but that didn't mean I was lower than him. I leaned across the desk and smiled, "You will never talk to me like that again, we are equals in this company. I may be assisting but our fathers are co-owners so that means half of this company is mine. You two are spoiled little kids, I am not going to spoil you and give you what you want." I took the folder he threw on the desk and presented it back to him, "If you have a problem with being separated from your dear brother then talk with your daddy."

I straightened up and glanced at Alexander, "Both of you have strong suites to handle these meetings but not together. I don't want you two together because you hold each other back from being better at your own jobs."

"We both do the same job, together." He gave me a confused look, "Two are better than one in any situation."

"Sometimes." I relented, "But you'll never learn to stand on your own if you always have a crutch."

"We are independent of each other." Aiden slammed his hand on his desk and tossed my notes across the room, "We are not going to go to the meetings separate. So fix them now."

My anger rushed to the surface and I reached over the desk to grab him and threw him against the wall, "You two will learn to work without each other, you're going to the hotel and he's leaving in a few minutes without you. Get over it, you're not going to have your brother in your life forever. He's not going to be with you through everything, you're not going to share everything, and you're not going to live with him forever. Now if you ever throw a temper tantrum like a child again I will treat you like a child. Pick up the notes I made for you and say bye to your brother for a few hours."

Our faces were inches apart and I could see the slight tremor of his anger, embarrassment and fright. "O-okay." He gave up, I took my hands off him and turned to Alexander who sat poised.

"Get to your first meeting." I ordered and left for my own desk. Adrenaline still poured through my veins, I was trying to be careful with everything I touched but when I opened the door to the office the whole door broke off the hinge. "God dammit." I growled dropping the door to the ground and rushing out the door, "Someone get somebody up here to fix that door now."

"Yes sir!" someone said while I walked by and fell into my chair.

I watched the twins leave together, whispering and I sighed heavily. There wasn't going to be an easy way to get them separated. After a few minutes I got up, straightened my suit and got my briefcase that held a nice ten pound laptop inside. I exited the building and went to the building a block away to see if Alexander was there. He was not.

"Excuse me, are you from A&A enterprise?" a young man came up to me once I started walking out of the building, "I am supposed to be meeting with someone from-"

"I am Jayden, the co-owner of the company, I will be happy to talk about starting a project with you. It seems that Alexander forgot about his meeting, I'll be sure he sends a gift to you as an apology." I gave him a charming smile and ushered him into a conference room as I planned a way to kill the twins.
