"I needed to talk to you for just a moment." i pulled out a chair for him at a nearby table and had him sit down before kneeling in front of him. "I know it was hard to be away from him, i remember feeling abandoned when i was shipped off to England. But i was completely alone. I'm not doing that to you two at all, but can you understand at all what i mean about you two making each other suffer by being one instead of two separate people?"

Aiden was tense when i first started talking but by the end he had relaxed and uncurled his fists from his knees. "Yes." he said simply and twisted his hands together nervously. "But... was he really completely okay without me?"

"No." i said honestly, "He was scared but i egged him on so he would focus on the task and prove me wrong. Just as i tried with you by keeping your communication limited and make it seem like he was fine on his own." I got to my feet and shook my hair behind my shoulders with my fingers. Aiden stood up too looking tired but otherwise excited to be seeing his brother, "How were your meetings anyway?"

He blinked and looked at me, for a moment i held my breath waiting for him to attack me. no one ever looked me straight in the eyes, not because they didn't like me but something almost compelled them to never look. Sometimes though... only men, they would suddenly defy their nature and look me head on and it would be like throwing an animalistic switch in their heads and they'd attack me in a sexual rage. It never got far because i am able to defend myself easily but afterwards the person never treat me the same. But then i remembered i followed what my mom asked by wearing contacts.

"They went... good i guess." then he seemed to get embarrassed and blushed pink, "Thanks for the notes to help guide me through them, it helped."

"Of course." i nodded, paying no mind to his embarrassment because i knew that it could be hard being on your own. "Now lets get your brother and eat, i'm absolutely dying."

"You look like you don't eat at all." he deadpanned giving me a look over and i screwed my face up in the familiar observation.

"I know but just wait until you see me eat." i shook my head, "We are lucky that none of us have to pay for lunch because its going to be expensive." without further explanation i glanced outside and had Alexander join us finally.

They both visibly relaxed when they saw each other but both were frowning, looking thoughtful and i knew both were thinking about this whole new situation they are in. When i sat down at the table i already had my nose deep in the menu figuring out exactly what i wanted so i didnt have to wait longer than necessary for food. They sat across from each other, both being on my sides, much to my surprise but i didn't let it show.

"Order whatever you want, anything i order is for myself only." i told them being completely serious. the waiter stopped shortly after, "Yes ill have calamari, an order of the crab cakes, some fondue... then as the main course a porterhouse medium rare with a salad and baked potato, also the grilled chicken breast... oh and some bread too, ill have water please. and whatever these two want."

i beamed confidently at the waiter who was still racing to write down parts of my order and fumbling to grab my menu. "Uh- okay and what for you two gentlemen...?" he stumbled over his words looking a little scared that they would order like me too. Both of the twins were staring at me like i just admitted to being an alien.

after Aiden and Alexander recovered from their shock i was asking them to exchange notes on their meetings.

After i finished eating the last bite of my whole order i chugged my fourth glass of water and sighed. my appetite was never totally satisfied but for now i would be fine. Then i glanced at the twins and frowned, they hadn't even started their own meals and i realized they'd been watching me eat the whole time.

"I told you i'd eat everything i ordered." i smirked as i watched their faces slowly come back to life and they glanced at each other. "Now eat both of you, we have a couple more meeting before the end of the day and then we have to go to a banquet so we all will have to change into formal attire."

"Is that how you normally eat?" Aiden asked suddenly when he was about half way through his food. I watched with interest as he ate slowly, just as his brother did. I barely breathed while i was eating my food, i felt like i had been starved for days.

"Typically I'm eating constantly through out the day so i guess." i shrugged while leaning back into my chair and shoving some of my hair back behind my shoulder. "I only scarfed down food like that because i hadn't had anything to eat since i picked up coffee for you two."

"Thats not very long... how are you not getting sick? there is no way anyone can handle all of that food." Alexander jumped in looking slightly green as he thought about it.

"Don't have a clue." i said honestly, " I've always been like that though."

"Really?" they both cocked their heads at the same time and i thought it was kind of cute. Aiden then thought for a moment before saying something else, "I don't recall ever seeing you in the cafeteria when you used to go to school here. In fact i never saw you eat a thing."

i shrugged, "I can't remember anything bout living here. something happened to me, i guess it was traumatic because i really didn't recognize you two or your father when i met you earlier. Still don't." that made them both stiffen and look at each other, seeming to do some kind of twin telepathy.

"So... did you come back for the job?" Alex asked after a few minutes of silence.

"My father is dying." i stated evenly and frowned at the thought of him soon slipping away, it bothered me. "My mom ordered me home and she is not a woman to ignore. Honestly i don't really have any plans to stay after he passes..." this made the twins freeze again but i decided not to give much thought about it. "I have a life back in England and it can't just be brought here."

Aiden looked at me hard, "What kind of life? Do you like have a boyfriend-"

"Who told you i'm gay?" i raised an eyebrow while folding my arms across my chest.

Alexander glared at his brother while Aiden sputtered about with a stupid excuse. "It doesn't matter, i don't exactly have relationships like romantic ones, of any kind." i sighed before plucking out a shiny new card that their father gave to me to be able to spend on food. "I refuse to depend on anyone or allow myself to love someone who would leave me."

After i signed the check i stood up, suddenly needing to escape the twins, "Please finish your meetings, separately and ill meet you two at the party... remember to change." before they could respond i turned sharply and left to go back to the office.

I glowered at myself in the mirror, how was i able to just let so much slip at lunch. Never in my life had i ever given so much about myself to total strangers.

The banquet was settled in a museum full of rare collections of art. I had dressed into a dark blue suit that fit me perfectly. Instead of looking out for the twins i had quickly been distracted by the art and reading all the history on each item.

Every piece gave off a creepy vibe because it all looked familiar somehow. I didn't miss any details from any of the pieces; a pack of wolves after a hunt, two twins trying to look like mirror images of each other, a never ending war, and something that looked so beautiful but out of this world. The last piece held me in my place, it was so sad i wanted to cry but i had no idea why.

A lot of time passed but at some point i realized i wasn't alone, the twins were on either side of me. "Hello Alexander... Aiden."

"Hey," they both spoke at the same time before Alex continued, "How long have you been here?"

"I don't know." i answered softly, still staring at the confusing, beautiful picture, "I started looking at the art once i arrived and didn't really pay attention."

For some reason i felt the need to be comforted and some how the both of them knew that, each grabbed my hands. I could not understand the feeling that passed through me after they gave me comfort but i slipped my arms into the crook of their elbows and let them take me to the party.
