Into it (Camren)

After school I go with Lauren to her house. She makes some food for us. We eat and talk, I'm really thirsty and she pours me a drink of orange juice.

I put the drink to my mouth to take a sip. I see her in front of me, her eyes on me, she watches me. So distracted by her, I tip the glass to far and spill the orange liquid all over me, in my nose and dripping down my chin. Lauren laughs then gets up to get some napkins.

She takes a napkin and wipes my mouth. "Camz, you should change your shirt, I'll give you one of mine and put yours in the wash" she says still laughing. I give her a sweet smile and a nod "Thanks Lo."

We go up to her room, she searches around in her drawers. She pulls out a grey t-shirt with a kitten on it. "This okay?" she holds it up. "Yeah it's perfect" I answer. I take off my shirt, she notices and keeps her eyes focused on the ground, extending her arm out to hand me the shirt.

"Something wrong Lo?" I ask. She looks back up. "It's fine" she says shyly. I take the shirt and slowly pull it over my head, I feel her eyes on me. I smile under the shirt, my head pops out and I fix my hair. Lauren's face is pink, it's adorable but I say nothing because I don't want her to feel embarrassed. I smile at her shyly, she bites her lip. "I like this shirt. Just so you know, I'm keeping it" I say and Lauren nodds.

We go downstairs again and I finish the orange juice. She goes and sits down on the couch, I plop down next to her. I take the hem of my new shirt and stretch it out in front of me. "This kitten is cute" I say. "You know, you look way better in that shirt than I ever did" she smiles at me. "Lo you would look good in anything" I say and move my eyebrows up and down. Lauren smirks at me "You're cute Camz."

I cuddle up into her and hide my face in the crook of her neck. Suddenly the door flies open just as Lauren goes to kiss me. "Lauren, you won't believe wha- What the fuck?" Taylor bursts into the room. "Taylor!" Lauren says loudly as she stands up and I quickly jump to the other side of the couch.

There is a silence. Taylor looks at Lauren and Lauren looks from her to me "Taylor I can expla-" "Lauren what are you doing?" Taylor looks confused when she speaks. She runs upstairs, we can still hear her voice. "Don't talk to me!" she yells.

Lauren falls back onto the couch, she doesn't look at me. "Lo, I'm sorry" I say, I'm afraid of the empty expression on Lauren's face. She looks at me. "It's okay Camz, it's not your fault. Anyway she'll get over it. Her friend Cassie likes girls too and she's fine with it" Lauren gives a smile. You can barely call it a smile though. She's afraid. "Lo, are you okay?" I scoot closer. "Camz, I need a hug" she says. I put my arms around her and she crawls into me.

I feel a tear escaping from her eyes and falling onto my neck. It breaks my heart.
