We arrive at Lauren's house. The house is quiet and open, no one's home. "Where is everyone?" I ask. "My mom and dad are always at work and my sister is with a friend today, so it's just us" Lauren says. "I'll make us some sandwiches, you make yourself comfortable" she smiles at me.

I sit at the breakfast bar and watch her go to work, she doesn't take long at all, before I know it she places a plate in front of me. But I'm daydreaming and I don't even notice. I'm thinking of her.

"Camila, aren't you gonna eat?" I hear a voice. "Sorry, yes, thank you. It looks yummy" I say quickly. We eat is silence. I can feel the girl across from me watching me, I blush.

When we were both finished, I picked up our plates and put them in the sink. "Thanks Camz" she says "now let's go up to my room, we can watch a movie" she continues. "Yeah" I say excitedly before she takes my hand and leads me up the staircase.

Her room is brightly-colored, something I didn't expect, it was kind of messy. "Sorry, I didn't clean this up" she says shyly while picking up some clothes from the floor. "It's okay Lo, you should see my room" I smile at Lauren who's face is pink and she smiles back shyly. "Okay, let's watch that movie" she says and goes over to the TV to find the remote.

She looks around and search for it frantically. "I can't find the freaking remote" she says.

"Hey Lo. I kinda just want to talk to you, I don't mind if we don't watch TV" I say, looking her straight in the eyes. Her beautiful green glass orbs looks into mine while she steps closer. My heart beats a little faster. "Okay. What do you wanna talk about?" she jumps onto the bed and gesture for me to sit next to her by patting her hand on the spot she wants me.

I sit next to her. "Hi" she says. "Hey" I say back confused. "So Lauren, this is kind of serious and I don't want to scare you off but I need to tell you" I say with a serious look on my face, she furrows her brow, she looks confused. I don't know when this happened but somehow along the lines of arriving at her house and up until now, I somehow got the courage to tell her.

"Lo, I don't want to ruin our friendship but I'm willing to risk it. Lauren..." she looks deep into my chocolate brown eyes and I can tell she's listening closely as I speak "I like you, not just like you, I life-like you, y'know?" I sound like I'm in the 3rd grade. Life-like? What?

"Camz..." Lauren starts. "No Lauren. I get it, you don't have to like me back, I just wanted you to know" I say worried. Before I know it I feel her lips on my cheek. Cheek? So close but so far. "Camz, I do like you, but..." Lauren stops and thinks for a while "I've never been with a girl before. I have liked girls but I never dated them." I smile and she blushes and looks down to her feet. She's so cute.
