Into it (Camren)

"Hi Camila" my mother greets. "Hi mom" I say back. My father isn't home yet, I go upstairs to find Sofi. I enter Sofi's room, she's sitting on the floor drawing pictures. "Camila!" Sofi says excited.

I sit next to her on the floor to observe her drawings. I see her drawing to girls holding hands. Both girls have dark hair, one has dark clothing on and the other a familiar grey t-shirt. "Sofi, who is this?" I ask. "I saw you outside with a girl, I wanted to draw something nice and my teacher said we're suppose to draw something that represents love. It looked like love to me" Sofi shocks me with her answer. I feel a single tear rolling down my cheek.

Love.

I do love Lauren. "Camila, are you sad?" Sofi asks. "No Sof, I'm happy, very very happy" I say and smile. I hug my little sister and head to my room. I fall onto my bed, I think of Lauren. My phone rings.

Dinah : Sup, Mila. Did you and Lauren behave yourself?

Camila : Dinah I don't know what you mean.

Dinah : Yeah right. What did you guys do?

Camila : Homework.

Dinah : Mila, it sounds like you're crying.

Camila : Sorry, I-

Dinah : Did she hurt you Mila? I will kill her! What's her address? That bitch I-

Camila : No Dinah. I'm crying because I love her.

Lauren and I are hanging out again. It's Saturday so no school getting in the way, we can be together all day. She takes me to a cute little cafe. We order some coffee and she buys me a donut.

I offer her a bite, I bring it up to her mouth, just as she goes in for it, I dab it on her nose. She looks confused for a moments then she pouts playfully. She wipes the frosting from her nose and smiles. She moves her hand towards me on the table, she takes my hand in hers. "I'm going to get you for that" she says, her eyes focused on me. "You can try but you won't succeed" I say and bite my lip. "Oh yeah?" she says. "Yeah" I giggle. "I will and you can't stop me" she says. "Don't make me laugh Jauregui" I laugh.

We leave the cafe after a while and make our way to the park. We sit down on a bench under a big tree. "It's beautiful"  Lauren points to the flowers across from us. "Yeah but not as beautiful as you" I say. Honestly I didn't even notice the flowers, I had my eyes on the beautiful green eyed girl next to me. "Camz, did you even see the flowers?" Lauren asks. "Nope but I didn't need to, I rather look at you" I say, Lauren blushes. She puts her hand on my knee, to me it seems like the gesture is supposed to say thank you. I rest my hand ontop of hers and rub my thumb in small circles.
