Chapter 1

Introduction of Characters-

Ayano: A beautiful,smart and caring person who dreams of opening her own cafe. Ayano is living with Tetsuya. Her parents disappeared on her when she was 15. She is engaged to Tetsuya.

Tetsuya: A handsome,talented and out going person who dreams of taking over his father's company. Tetsuya is engaged to Ayano. Both his parents are overseas due to work.

Izanami: Ayano's best friend and co-worker. She is engaged to Otoya, Tetsuya's best friend.

Otoya: Tetsuya's best friend and a competitor in business. He is living with Izanami, Ayano's best friend, and is engaged to Izanami.

Chapter 1: How it all started

Ayano's P.O.V

"Izanami! How long are you going to take in that dressing room?! Come on I want to see the dress." I asked here while impatiently waiting for Izanami to come out.

" Hold on! Okay! I'm coming out!" she told me while slowly making her way to the mirror and stood in front of me. She looked amazing!

"Izanami..You look..."I trailed off while scanning her from her sparkling tiara to her pure white daimond shoes.

"What? Does it look okay?"she asked with a concerned look and turned around to see herself in the mirror.

"No. It doesn't look okay. It looks amazing! Izanami, this is definitely the one! Otoya is going to flip when he sees this!" I told her while observing her. She looked really beautiful. Like that dress was meant for her.

"Really?!" she asks me with big her light brown eyes widening.

"Yeah! Otoya will seriously flip when he sees you at the alter. Come on, they need to do some adjustments to your dress, " I told her while the store clerk fixes her dress.

Once the lady finished adjusting, Izanami went back into the dressing room. 10 minutes later, she was smiling happily and went to the counter to pay for the dress. I watched her pay for the dress.

"Ayano! Let's go! Otoya told me he wanted to meet us. He said he'll send someone over to get us, so we can explore this place for a while."she said while collecting her card from the lady behind the counter.

"Izanami, I'm sorry but my shift's going to start soon. Why not we go home then you can tell Otoya all about your day when he picks you up okay?"I asked her while walking out the door.

"Oh, that's right. I completely forgot. I'm so sorry, Ayano. Okay. Oh, I can't wait to tell Otoya about today. Um, are you free tomorrow?"she asked while texting Otoya.

"I'm sorry baby girl. I'm not free tomorrow. I work a full shift tomorrow. I asked the manager the week before for tomorrow to be a full shift for me. I'm sorry,"I told her with a sad and guilty face.

"It's okay. I understand. Anyways, tomorrow is when we pick Otoya's tuxedo, so I think u won't like it because you know Otoya is very picky. Hey Ayano, what time does your shift start?" she asked while pytting her wedding dress in the back of the car.

"My shift starts at 2.30, why?" I asked as I slip into the passenger seat and buckling my seat belt.

"Want me to drive you there? I thought of meeting Otoya at your work place and maybe we can grab a bite there," she said while starting the car.

"Sure, thanks for sending me." I told her while gazing out the window.

15 minutes later, I was dropped off in front of the cafe.

"I'll meet you inside. I'm going to park the car," she said while I closed the door behind me.

"Okay, thanks for the ride, Izanami" I told her and went inside the cafe.

I went to the back and changed my outfit and put over my apron. I went out at went to the cashier. I stood there and observe the people chatting and laughing and sharing gossip. My daydreaming was interrupted by a low and sexy voice.

"Um, can I place my order?" he asked while staring at me.

"Of course sir. I'm sorry. What would you like?" I asked him with a big smile.

"Give me a double chocolate chip and banana muffin, one ice mocha latte with extra whip cream and one cup of coffee. All to go please."he said while looking at the menu then turns to me.

"Certainly sir. Please wait a moment,"I told him while turning my back to him.

"Sir, would you like me to pre-heat your muffins?" I asked while showing him his muffins.

"Yes, please seperate both muffins." he instructed me and I do so without hesitation.

5 minutes later, I got his order in a brown paper bag.

"That will be 12.50," I asked him while looking at his suit. Wow... he looked dashing and the colour suited him.

"Here. Keep the change. Thanks,"he said while looking at his phone then turned to me. He smiled and I realized I was blushing really hard. He nodded and smiled again causing me to blush harder.

I looked out the big window and I realized that the sun was almost setting. I looked at my watch. Another 30 minutes before my shift ends.The 30 minutes went by fast and the next thing I realized was I in the locker room to grab my things.

By the time I went out the cafe, it was dark. I put on my jacket and took out my earbuds and played my music. 5 minutes later, someone interruted me. I took out my red earbuds and was surprised to see the man who ordered the double chocolate chip and banana muffin and he was the guy who made me blushed hard.

"Um, can I help you?"I asked while looking at my phone to pause my music.

"Are you going home alone? It's dangerous out here you know," he looked at me and walked towards me.

"Oh, I'm sorry but I don't own a car and my best friend is spending time with her fiance so I don't want to disturb them, so I'm walking home. Um, what are you doing here anyways?" I asked while blushing in front of me.

" I was just passing by and I saw you. It's not safe for a girl to walk home by herself.Can I give you a lift?" he asked while coming closer to me. Every step he took, I blushed even more.

"Um it's okay. I'll take the bus. I don't want to trouble you," I told him and I walked away.

"Wait!" I heard him say and he ran up to me.

" Yes?" I ask in a shy voice.

"Um, it's really not a problem for me to take you home. I don't want to have the  feeling where I leave you alone and keep thinking that something bad will happen to you. So it's really okay for me to send you home," he said while taking my hand and blushing at the same time.

"Are you sure? I mean don't mind walking home even though it's far. I don't want to trouble you," I said while putting my head down and blushing hard.

"It's fine. I'm sure so come on. My car's over there." he assured me and led me to his car. His hand felt so warm and big.

"What's your name?" I asked him in a soft voice.

"Tetsuya Kuroko, you?"He asked while looking at me with his light blue eyes.

"Ayano Kazumi," I said while staring at his hand. I smiled at him.
