It's not difficult to love you

Chapter 2

Tetsuya's P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing. I tossed to the other side of my king sized bed to stop my alarm from ringing. I sat on the other side of my bed and got up to open the curtains. I looked outside. I went over to my balcony and smelled the fresh, clean air.

I went back inside and I went to grab a towel from my walk in closet. I went in the bathroom and stripped naked. I entered the shower. It felt great when the hot water ran down on my skin.

20 minutes later, I was out of the bathroom. I wrapped my towel around my waist and walked over to my walk in closet. I fingered every suit I had and  finally decided on a grey gucci suit with a matching tie and black leather shoes.

I went over to my full body sized mirror and did my hair and tie. I wore my shoes, grabbed my car keys and phone and placed in my right side pocket. I opened my garage door and picked my car. I drove to my office. It was only 9.00 a.m and my assistant is nowhere to be seen.

It's my first day ever since my dad remarried my mom last week.I hated my mom for walking out on us when we needed her but I learnt to let go of the past. He told me he was moving to Venice, Italy and he wanted to hand me his billion dollar company. I agreed immediately to his idea and the next thing I knew, I'm standing in the middle of my father's office. I went over to the big window in front of me and was astonished by it's view.

I heard a knock on the door and saw a blonde woman standing in front of me. She walked towards me and she had a guilty look plastered on her face.

"I'm so sorry, Mr.Tetsuya. I was late because of my morning sickness," she said while holding her head down.

"It's okay. How are you feeling now, Ms. Kristen?" I asked while settling down on my chair.

"I'm fine now. Thank you,"she said with a relieved look on her face.

"Ms.Kristen, if you are unwell, please inform me immediately. It will be bad for your baby if your body is unwell, do I make myself clear?" I asked her while staring at her stomach.

"Of course. Thank you for understanding my situation, Mr.Tetsuya." she told me while smilimg brightly.

"As long as you don't hurt yourself or your child, it's okay. Now, may I please know what is on today's agenda?" I asked her with a calm but serious look.

"Certainly sir," she told me while passing me today's agenda. I excused her and she exited. I opened the agenda and looked through today's appointment. I saw a name that stood out from the rest. Damn! Why would my brother who disappeared 5 years ago, make an appointment with me?

"Ms.Kristen, please come in my office," I told her through the intercom.

"Yes, Mr.Tetsuya?"she asked with a concern look.

"Please ask this man why he would have an appointment with me?" I told her with an upset look on my face.

"Of course sir. Please wait a moment, I will call him right away," she said as she walked back to her cubicle.

I sat back on my chair and deeply sighed. I can't believe he had the nerve of making an appointment with me. Does he not remember the awful thing he did to Alisha?!

"Sir, the man said he wanted to talk to you about a certain matter, that's why he made the appointment with you," Ms.Kristen told me while popping her head a little through the door.

"Very well. What time is he scheduled to meet me?" I asked while looking upset.

"10.30 sir. Is everything alright?" she asked with a concern look on her face.

"Yes. Everything's fine. Thank you, you may go now." I instructed her. She nodded her head and left the room.

I stood up and walked to the window. I stared outside for a while and sat back on my chair. I picked up my phone and dialed my father's number.

-Phone conversation-

Dad: Hello?

Me: Hey Dad. Do you have a minute?

Dad: Of course. Is something wrong?

Me: Um.. Why did Kagami make an appointment with me even though he knows I don't want to ever see his face?

Dad: Tetsuya, you have to learn to let go of the past. Your brother just wants to apologize for the terrible thing he did to Alisha. Please find it in your heart to forgive him.

Me: Why should I forgive that bastard?! He has no right to talk to me anymore! I can't believe he has the nerve of wanting to show his face to me! I will never forgive that bastard!

-End of phone conversation-

I have never talked to my father like that before. But I was so angry at my father for taking my brother's side even though he was in the wrong. That's it. I'll tell Kristen to cancel my appointment.

"Ms. Kristen, please cancel my appointment with the man named Tetsuya Kagami," I told her through the intercom.

"Very well sir,"she says softly through the intercom.

Alright. Now the nuisance is taken care of. I stood up and walked towards the door. I informed Ms. Kristen to cancel all appointments for today and send flowers to all of my clients as an apology.

I walked in the elevator and pressed the ground floor button. I reached the ground floor and walked out of the building. The valet boy notices me and drove my car. He handed me my keys and I started the ignition. I drove off passing a cute little cafe and stopped.

I observed the cafe for a moment and decided to try it. When I walked in the cafe and noticed that many eyes were on me. The cashier was day dreaming and I interrupted her day dream.

"Um, can I place my order?" I asked in a low voice and my phone received a message.

"Of course sir. I'm sorry. What would you like?" the cashier asked in a cute and soft voice.

"Give me a double chocolate chip and banana muffin, one ice mocha latte with extra whipped cream and one coffee," I told her while looking into her eyes.

"Certainly sir. Please wait one moment," she told me as she turned, her back facing me.

5 minutes later, she asked me if I wanted my muffins pre-heated.

"Yes, please seperate both muffins," I told her while she was showing my muffins.

I didn't realize that she was finished packing my order and suddenly hang up the phone.

"That will be 12.50," she said while giving me a sweet and caring smile.

"Here. Keep the change. Thank you," I said as I handed her the money and I let out an embarassing chuckle as she was blushing.

"Thank you. Please come again," she said while blushing hard.

I walked out of the cafe with a light heart and felt like all my burdens were gone. Wow! What an amazing girl. ' I should meet her sometime,' I told myself.
