Chapter 23

Ayano's P.O.V

I could feel Tetsuya's warm lips on my forehead. He told me to get dres for tonigt's surprise so I slowly got out of bed. I made my way towards the bathroom and took a nice long shower. When I came out, a pink lacey and shiny dress sat on the bed with a pink glittering mask.

"That's your costume that you're suppose to wear for tonight's event." Tetsuya told me. I stared at him for a few minutes observing him. He looks so dashing in his tuxedo. He smiles at me and holds up his mask. What's with the masks? Maybe some charity event again. I smile at him and walked towards him to give him a kiss.

He smiles at me and left me to change. I got dressed, did my hair and make up and wore the jewelry that tetsuya bought for me and went out. I walked downstairs and found Tetsuya in his tuxedo and he wore his mask. His colour is blue. He held out his hand and I gave him my hand. He escorted me out of the house and into a white limo. He told the driver the location and we were off. We arrived in front of a huge building called 'Crystal Palace'. Tetsuya escorted me inside the building. We were escorted into an elevator and he pressed the top floor. We reached the top floor, there were many people in ball gowns, masks and tuxedos.

"What's all this?" I asked him with a confused look.

"Your surprise. It's a masquerade ball. I organized it a few nights ago. I wanted to do something special for your and this is a great way for you to forget about your worries and dance with me. Would you do me the honour of being my partner, Madame?" He asked me while bowing his head.

"Of course you may good sir." I told him while qurtseying him gently. I place my hand on him. He escorts me to the dance floor and we sway to the sweet and soft classical music. After the dance, We bowed to each other and hugged each other.

We walked away from the crowd and we were escorted by two bodyguards to our table. We sat in middle of everything.

"Baby, I have to do somethung first. Wait for me okay?" He told me while helping me pull my chair.

"Okay, but will you be here in time for dinner?" I asked him while looking a little a sad.

"Of course baby. It will just take a few minutes. Seat here and relax okay?" He told me with a small smile.

"Okay. Don't take too long." I told him while pourting.

"Baby, don't pout. I'll be really fast okay?" He told me while giving me a kiss.

"Okay." I told him sadly. He smiles at me and leaves to only god knows where. I sat alone and suddenly a hand is placed on my shoulder. I fliched and when I turn around, Izanami is standing in front of me.

"Izanami, what are you doing here?! I thought you were tired. Oh my gosh Hi" I told her while I pullimg her in for a hug.

"Hi. I wanted to surprise you. Tetsuya told me that you were feeling down lately and then the thing about your Dad came up and it made you even more scared so he invited us to surprise you," She said while giving me a big hug.

"What do you mean 'us'? Is Otoya with you?" i ask while seaeching for Otoya.

"Yeah he is. He said he had to do something but he said to wait here so I guess this is our table too. Come on let's sit down. My feet are killing me." She told me and I carefully helped her to her chair. A few minutes later, the light dimmed down and everyone settled into their seats.

A light sunddely came out of nowhere and shone it to a red velvet curtain and a man came out.

"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming out from your busy schedule to attend this extravagent event. This event is dedicated to someone very special. She is an amazing women but lately bad things have been thrown at her and I hate to see her like this so will Ayano Kazumi please come up to the stage?" The mysterious man asked.

I clumsily stood up and a light was shone at me. A man in a black and white tuxedo escorted me up to the stage and the mysterious man thank him. He held out oa hand to me and I gently placed my hand on his.

"Miss Ayano, please take a bow. I dedicate this night to you," He said and suddenly he took off his mask and placed his lips on mine. I wanted to push him away but I remembered thsi feeling. It was Tetsuya. I could hear people whistling at the background. He lets go my lips go and smiles.

"Cheeky guy. What's really going on?" I asked him while stepping back, allowing sace between us. He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me in again for a kiss.
