It's not difficult to love you

Chapter 20

Tetsuya's P.O.V

She looked so cute with Blue in her arms. Blue really was a good name. I bought dog food, toys, a food and water bowl. We went back into the car and drove off. When we arrived, Ayano went to the backyard with Blue while I went to settle Blue's things in the living room.

I went to the backyard and saw Ayano throwing a stick and Blue fetching it. I walked over to Ayano and snaked my arms around her waist and kissed her cheek. After playing with Blue, we went inside for the homemade dinner that Ayano was going to make.

"How does Mac and Cheese sound?" Ayano asked while letting go of Blue.

"Sounds perfect. I'll go wash up first then I'll set up the table," I told her while giving her a quick kiss on the cheek and then went upstairs.

After 30 minutes, I went downstairs and set up the table. I gave Blue his food and water and placed his bed in front of his food and water bowl. We sat down and I poured us wine.

"How's your Dad?" Ayano asked while grinning pepper on her food.

"Fine. His getting married though," I said to her and she choked on her wine. i patted on her back.

"What?" she asked with a surprised face.

"Yeah. Apparently, they fell in love in Paris while he was on a buisness trip and she was organizing a fashion show. I met the woman before and I approved of thier marriage. Would you like to accompany me to their wedding?" I asked her while digging into my Mac and Cheese.

"Of course I would. When's the wedding?" She asked while digging into her food as well.

"This weekend. I was thinking after their wedding, we'll go on our vacation. How's that sound?" I asked her hoping she will approve of the idea.

"Sure, sounds fun. How's your mac and cheese?" she asked me while smiling.

"Absolutely delicious. When did you learn how to cook like this?" I asked her while taking in another delicious bite.

"My grandfather taught me the recipe," she said while giving a small smile.

"Your grandfather must be a successful chef then," I told her while taking her hand into mine.

"He's not a chef. He's a buisnessman who happened to take care of me. When he was free, I took the oppurtunity to ask him to teach me how to cook. When I was with my grandfather, I felt safe," she told me with sadness in her eyes.

"Baby, I'm sorry. But your grandfather is a talented cook. Come on, after we're done, we can watch any movie you like, okay?" I told her while finishing my dinner.

"Sure. Your choice today," she told me while finishing her food.

We were done and we cleared the dishes. Blue was sleeping soundly in his new bed so we tip toed to the living room. I searched the cabinet full of movies.

"Is romance okay?" I asked her. She nodded her head and sat on the sofa. She pulled a blanket that was placed on the sofa and snuggled comfortably. I sat next to her and she wrapped me in the warm blanket. I smiled at her and she rested her head on my chest.

I pressed play on the remote and the movie started. After the movie ended, my phone rung. I saw the caller I.D. and saw that it was one of my clients.

-Phone conversation-

Me: Hello sir. Is there anything I can help you with?

Client: Yes, there is actually. I would like to discuss a certain matter with you regarding our contract. Are you available next Monday for our appointment?
