It has finally come down to this...in these past few months, my world has been open to something way behind my comprehension. Him...I would've never thought Love with a little bit of crazy has transformed me into someone else.
As I look in the mirror, I see a different woman...someone I'm not quite familiar with and she's been in there the whole time; you know according to Him...
I came here to New York to work with people who get looked over. "Normal" citizens just see what criminals are by their name criminals. But before that I'm sure they had people whom they loved or loved them. My goal was to understand the person before shit went into a downward spiral.
'Hahahahaha, I just said shit...he's rubbing off on me.'
Here I am laughing, when all hell has just broke loose because we're trying to do the right thing for this city. He and I against the world...and I mean the whole damn world because who knows what other dangerous organizations could be in on this too!
My father has held so many family secrets from me that I stand here in front of this mirror still in disbelief. I can't believe that I was once a timid, criminal therapist, and now, a badass, no filter fighter for what's right!
But still...deep down, I wish that things were different and life could still flow in that never-ending cycle. As the saying goes, "You gotta grab life by the balls," and that's exactly what I'm going to do!
