Lies and Manipulations

Mick and his family arrived with Film just behind them around nine that morning. His mom, dad, and sister were given a quick tour of some of the rooms but were also given the impression that there were more people around that they couldn't meet.

Mick's sister immediately understood that Noh's lover was on the premises and started silently freaking out. She went on her twitter, Facebook and IG and immediately started posting. Noh and Phun had no idea she was actually a card carrying member of the High Riser Fan Club and had even worked with her senpai to create their current website.

Mick was also clueless about her activities so couldn't warn anyone in advance. That was the best part for her and she resolved that she would not leave until she got a picture of Noh's lover.

It didn't take her half an hour to realize Noh wasn't the only person with a secret lover around. Phun received a text and broke into a wide grin before disappearing. She turned to Mick.

"Is Nong Phun in a relationship?"

"Yes he is. He's dating someone but she doesn't have the status he does."

"A Cinderella romance?"

"Something like that. Because of his father's work, he keeps things quiet but he is the type who doesn't care about status." Mick was only repeating the cover story they had come up with for Phun. He didn't realize his sister was recording all of it.

"And what about Film and Dye?" She asked because there was definitely something there.

"What about them?" Mick gave her his full attention now. Unlike their parents, his sister was a fujoshi and loved all things BL. She was a bit like Pang only she lived her fujoshi life in secret. If their parents only found out, they would embarrass the siblings and be kicked out of there. Min would have to leave but this was Mick's work/school project so he would get to stay.

Thank goodness!

"They just seem close, that's all." She quickly tried to cover her tracks. Mick blinked and refocused on her.

"Well we are all close here. We have to be and while Film is not a musician anymore, he is in the industry. It creates a closeness because you're with people who understand your situation. You're reading too much into this. Besides, Dye is straight."

"But he could be bi-curious." She leaped to that conclusion gleefully.

"Well if he was, Film is a great choice. He is an awesome P. Still, they are not in a relationship and I should know. Stop making something out of nothing. Those are the worse type of fans. They see something and create a story in their minds when reality is so much more boring. Then they get all mad and disappointed when the truth comes out and blames the star. It's not fair and I wouldn't want to see it happen to any of my boys."

His sister felt the pinch of that statement acutely. She had done much the same before and had been severely disappointed when it turned out that Jungkook and V were not a couple in real life.

"Sorry I just thought they looked close ad I was curious. I wasn't trying to make you upset little brother." She really hadn't been. She needed to remember these people were important to her brother and his university success. 

"No, it's ok. I've just been feeling stressed about the coming year. It will be really difficult work."

She gave Mick a hug and ruffled his hair, knowing very well he didn't like that. Mick smacked her hand away and greeted Ohm who had finally risen and come out to greet everyone. Noh had already taken a chance and slipped away some time ago.
