Hiatus and Deadlines

Deadlines are now non-existent till I return.

I am going on hiatus starting tonight. Length of my absence is undetermined.

My reason?

My grandpa (on my stepdad's side)  is in the hospital and today he was transferred to another one. 

He is getting worse and is going down the same road as my other grandpa on my mom's side. 

We all fear he will not make it either. I am struggling to stay upbeat about this. Especially since we have finally gotten past our differences and were connecting as granddaughter and grandfather after about 16 years.

I am saddened that I could not go with my parents and brother to see him. I was asked to take care of the house and animals as well as watch over my sister who could not get a leave from school due to fucking tests that are apparently more important than someone's life! 

I will rant on that in another book another day probably.

Anyway, this awards book will still be open. I do not plan to be gone for months. 

I apologize to everyone but life comes first. I'm going to try and head across country to see him soon....if he doesn't pass away over the weekend....
