2018 THANK YOU
Hi everyone, it's Ariettie ~
It was pretty tough to write this, it's tough to write about anything you've loved for a long time after you've ended it.
In the final chapter, I couldn't fully express how grateful I was to everyone who was attentive and picked this up to read.
So here I am, a couple weeks later, saying from the bottom of my heart, I really and truly thank you, you, for reading Boys For Hire.
I truly love each one of my boys (and Chi!) and I hate that I've had to bring their adventures to a close.
But again, I think having a resolution is a good thing.
I've received many a message, relaying how terrible I am of an author for ending my story I loved so dearly and starting another one.
I won't fight you if you think this way, but not everything can last forever, and Boys For Hire had a 30 or so chapter length as I intended.Thank you all.
2021 UPDATE
Hello all!
Thank you for picking up Boys For Hire.
Here I am, 20 years old. I started writing Boys For Hire when I was 15 years old. You can kinda' tell, huh? It's only recently I've decided to republish my work.
Boys For Hire holds a special place in my heart as the work that launched my interest in serial writing. Back then I was in high school, taking nothing but an english class. Now I'm in my 20's, aiming on taking a masters in literature.
I've mentioned before I've wanted to rewrite/relaunch BFH. At this moment in time, I don't want to. If I'm getting personal, BFH represents a special part of my childhood, a time I lived with my parents and lived a carefree life as a younger person, with a dog and a picket fence. It means more to me than just a story I wrote on wattpad at 15. I want to preserve it as this.
And for those who supported me, read and liked Boys For Hire, who have grown up themselves and gone to further things. I want to preserve these memories and these chapters for those who have just picked it up as well.
So again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for picking up my story. Thank you for supporting me.
I hope to become worthy of your praise and your support.
Thank you.
Ariettie Silver.
