Making A Better Protagonist

"Cultivation is a long process. To achieve standards worth something, you need to give all your time and a lot of resources, unlike a certain someone known as 'the protagonist'. ", Xu Shi explains.

"I don't have that much time and I am a poor man. Tell your lord I demand cheat. ( • ̀ω•́ )", Xu Zhu huffs.

"..... The lying lord that tricked you is giving you a gift as cheat. He said that he does not want you dead yet so he will be generous.", Xu Shi takes out a book.

"Generous! The hell! What's special about this old worn-out book?", Xu Zhu shouts glaring at the old dusty book in his hand.

"Illusion arts of the Immoral. The lazy Lord has even done some correction to enhance it's effect.", Xu Shi looks at him with a raised brow.

"Humph...This is a lost heavenly art? Seems more like an old worn out diary. ", Xu Zhu smiles after checking it out. "Seeing how he wrote it himself , I will take it as his generosity than. How do I learn this so called  Heavenly art ? "

"It's quite easy. If you can use inner spiritual energy. "

"Where do I get it from? ", Xu Zhu smiles very pleased with the cheat.

"This world's humans are born with it."

".....so unfair! ", Xu Zhu pouts.

"Xu Zhu was born with it so if you can find it, you can of course use it. ", Xu Shi stands up to leave.

"And how do I do it? ", Xu Zhu asks looking inside the book. It all looks gibberish to him.

" Meditate!! "

".....What?! ", Xu Zhu drops his book as he looks up to find the handsome guy missing.

"I am feeling so sleepy.....let's take a walk first... ", standing up he first checks to see if the coast is clear.

'Smiling gently as the wind sways her dark locks, Feng Ju stares admiringly at the blooming lotus in the pond. Her glossy chest-nut eyes sparkling, cute button nose, pink pouting lips and milky white skin could tempt even a ice cube, the author did design her just for the protagonist', Xu Zhu wonders as he stares at her while sitting on a thick branch of a nearby elm.

As he is lost in his own thoughts, their comes a shriek waking him up. Stabilizing himself hurriedly he sighs in relief. He almost fell down. Turning back to the girl from where he heard such a banshee like scream, he finds a fair looking monkey grinning at the girl as she pouts cutely and scolds him.

" You are so mean, Lei gege! I won't play with you anymore.", she turns around as her eyes turn wet. She looks like someone just bullied her badly.

Frantic at her tears , the idiotic monkey jumps here and there coaxing her to stop crying and calling her all shorts of mushy names.

Xu Zhu turns around to leave seeing how he couldn't bring himself to keep listening to such abnormal humans. 'Right now look how she's hugging his arm with a face that just wants him to do her but wasn't it this same shameless lass who weeped and howled that this man is stalking her trying to force himself on her. Tch, such a smelly little world. One can't even trust their own shadows', Zhu sighs as he jumps down, strolling towards his room.

Xu Zhu whistled as he sways back to his chamber. 'I should go back to my meditation lest Ah Shi finds out I slacked off.'
