Cao Lei has no idea what his sister-in-law is talking about but he sure can see him sending out killing intent. Afraid of being hit again, he sends out his little straw rat to spy on their kidnapper.

"Don't worry, sister in law. In regards with puppet art, if I say I am the second best noone has the gall to say they are the first.", Cao Lei grins widely, showing his white teeth. Xu Zhi stared at him deadpanned. 'What courage? When you meet the protagonist, you won't even dare to call yourself the second best.'

"It can spy and even record the conversation. This is a secret art our ancestors has been passing down."

"Alright! Alright! We will see how great you and your ancestors are!"

Before Cao Lei could complain, they start hearing voices from the stone in front of them. Xu Zhi stares amazed at the stone. 'Really a genius! He could even spy on his enemy with the help of some straw and an ordinary stone. What rotten luck did he have that he is bound to lose everything just cause of the protagonist?'

"Sister-in-law, I think I have heard this voice before!"

"But they were targeting you sister-in-law!", Cao Lei speaks out against the unjust treatment.

"Uh...", Xu Zhu just ignores him and turns his concentration back to the stone.

"When I was pursuing the target, the young master Cao Lei interfered. I managed to subdue them but now he is also in my custody! What do I do about him?", a rough voice questioned.

"Tch! That fool! Father and mother pampers him so much, no wonder he is so weak! Kill them both. Dead men tells no tale. There will just be one more fool down! Let us see what that bastard Sheng will do now? hahaha", a sickly calculating voice laughs out ruthlessly.

Hearing the conversation, Xu Zhu turns to Cao Lei. He has eyes open wide in shock, filled with disbelieve and betrayal.

" Sister...."

"Doesn't matter who he is! Let's get out of here!"

Xu Zhu stands up and starts rummaging throw his space ring that Xu Shi gave him. Shi was worried about him and so stuffed a lot of things in his space. He might not be able to match others in combat yet but can easily evade anyone with the tools he has!

"He's... He's my brother, sis.... Even if he is jealous of cousin, how can he so carelessly throw away everyone's life. Father , mother... If it is out that this was all done by him, the whole clan will be executed!", horrified, Cao Lei turned towards Xu Zhu.

Busy searching through the space bag Shi has dumped in his ring, Zhu didn't even hear Cao Lei's anxious wailings.

" .... Sister in law, what are you doing?"

"What are you searching for?"

Xu Zhu picks up the chain binding them to the bed and cuts it smoothly as if cutting cheese with a knife. Cao Lei stares wide mouthed at the falling chains.

"Come now.", Xu Zhu picks up the shocked Lei through his collar and jumps down from the window.
