In Between A Rock And A Hard Place (SasuNaru)

chapter 9

Naruto P.O.V

i woke up looking at someones chest, i tried not to move so that i wouldn't be noticed. I looked up at who was carrying me, it was Sasuke. In the meantime Sasuke had noticed my movements. "What's up Naruto, how are you feeling?" He asked while grinning. "Where are we?" I asked "we are close to hidden sand, i'm sorry we had to get away from Konoha otherwise we would end up being found out." Sasuke said while looking down at me. I just stayed still "do you think you can walk or do i have to carry you more?" He had asked.

I was careful i didn't want to say anything to Sasuke that would anger him. "Can you keep carrying me?" I asked him as he smiled "of course i can, anything for you." He said. What does that even mean, isn't he supposed to hate me? He is the one that left i can't treat him like a friend any more he is the enemy, a rogue ninja from Konoha.

"So how has it been in Konoha." Sasuke asked. Is he trying to make small talk with me? "Sasuke, cut the crap why did you come here?" I asked. he sighed and opened his mouth "i-i had heard my brother was close but more importantly..." he didn't say anything after that and looked down. "but more importantly what?" i asked. "i w-was going to get you to go with me." Sasuke said and then looked down again. "go with you to do what?" i asked because he had spiked my interest. "i don't know, i guess i just missed you. i wanted to travel with you and train together to become strong and be independent from Konoha."

he missed me? he had been gone for over three years, three years this could be a trap, i have to be careful. "you missed me? Sasuke let me go i want to go home." i tried  to look up at Sasuke and when i did there was a wet splash on my forehead, and another one. then i heard Sasuke Snicker while his breathing became more and more irregular. was he crying? "pl- please Naruto... don't go *sniff* i need you, you have to stay." i was shocked did Sasuke really miss me that much? "Sasuke, don't cry now come on." i said as i wiped his tears with my left hand.

in my mind i was contemplating if i was going to stay with the Raven haired teen. right now i didn't have much choice i had to go with him because i was wounded but also because deep inside off me there was a voice that said i wanted to come not that i had to "i will stay with you, now how long have i been out?" i asked. "you have been passed out for about two and a half days." he said with obvious joy in his voice.

i looked around to see that none of Sasuke's friends were here so i decided to ask him why "they were useless anyway." he said. i looked at him in disbelief he just dumped his friends, were they even his friends? "it's getting dark let's set up camp." Sasuke said. and then we begun setting up camp i was collecting some dry wood to make a fire and Sasuke was setting up his tent. after a while we were done and sat by the fire. we sat a few feet from each other until Sasuke closed in and was right next to me he kept getting closer and closer until there was just a few inches between our bodies, i quickly stood up "well time to eat something." i said rubbing my left hand behind my head. i grabbed the cooking supplies Sasuke had and cooked up some rice.

while i was cooking i just asked myself why is Sasuke acting like this, Sasuke turned around and was staring at me on how i was cooking. "Naruto?" he asked "yeah?" i said "what do you think off me?" he said i thought about it a long time like really long creating an awkward silence. "you are like a brother to me." i said "do you still... love me?" he had carefully asked. "i- uh i don't know i think so." i said not knowing how i felt for him he was the one that left me and turned me down but deep down inside off me i knew i still had feelings for him i just didn't know what kind of feelings.

AN: sup, i just did another chapter! yay. so guys i want to thank you guys on 100+ reads i love you guys and i hope you like the story. when i was writing this part i was like thinking about what came next and owww do i have some stuff for you guys i'll just let you guys wait a bit for next chapters because i am evil.
