In Between A Rock And A Hard Place (SasuNaru)

chapter 11

Sasuke P.O.V

I woke up hearing naruto breath heavy. I think he was having a nightmare or something. I shook his shoulder "psst Naruto wake up you are having a bad dream." He opened his eyes and i stared into them it was like i was staring into his  soul. I saw that he was sweating a bit "what was your dream about?" I asked him curiously. "I-uhm nothing." He smiled akwardly i saw something was wrong but i didn't bother i just grabbed Naruto by his waist, pulled him in close and whisperred into his ears "it's okay you can go to sleep i'll protect you." He looked at me and he then snuggled into me grabbing me around the waist and said "thanks, teme." In a sarcastic voice.

But after saying that he immediatly fell asleep, his head on my chest and little snores coming from his mouth. He looked so peacefull as if he didn't care about what was going on around him. I didn't even sleep after that because i was to busy staring at Naruto.

After a few hours passed off me staring at Naruto i felt him waking up in my arms his breathing got faster and out of rythm and then he slowely opened his eyes. "What's up, sleepy." I asked whike he was just staring at me holding on to me thight. "Soo want to do anything today?" I asked him. "I jusy want to lay in bed, my arm hurts a bit but i guess it's recovering."

"I'm sure it will be fine but if u want to stay inside this tent the whole day that's fine by me." I said this would be a good moment to talk to Naruto, it had been three years ago when i was consumed by the darkness. And i wanted to know what Naruto had been through. "So what's been on your mind lately?" I asked. "J-jiraiya." Naruto snickered as he burst out crying.

"What is it Naruto?" I asked worried about the blond. "You know Jiraiya my godfather right?" He said "yeah the pervy guy, why?" I asked not knowing why Naruto burst out crying. "He was killed recently." (An: honestly sadest part of the anime so far((i'm at ep 330 so don't spoil)) i legit cried when jiraiya died) Naruto stated as he tensed i didn't know what to say so i just grabbed Naruto's back and pulled him into a long hug.

The day went by pretty quickly and Naruto and i hadn't moved a muscle scince the hug. In the time that had gone by Naruto fell asleep on my chest again. I looked at him and then at his arm and thought that the arm will take a while to recover. After a while i got out off the tent to make some dinner. I started the fire and got some water and started washing the vegtables. My cooking skills weren't up to par with Naruto's at all but i could cook alright. Idecided to make a vegetable soup with tomato and some other stuff.

I heared some rustling in the tent meaning Naruto woke up. After a while he came out of the tent and sat at the fire. "Sasuke, i uhm about your offer for me to come with you i think i will." He said as he started blushing. I smiled and just gave Naruto his soup. I'm glad he's comming with me because i don't know what to do without him, it just felt so natural being around him. He was my sunshine.

We started eating and Naruto being the clumsy guy that he is knocked over his soup bowl making the soup fall all over him. I sighed when i saw him "You are Naruto alright." i laughed out and he laughed with me. Today was a perfect day and i wish everyday could be like this traveling with Naruto, Eating with Naruto and Laughing together.

Me: so euh i took a little break grom writing *sweatdrops* i wanted to update but i am lazy so sorry

Sasuke: you know you have to make up for this right?

Me: yes so i will try to hit you guys with the dubble update today i will update after dinner so stay tuned :P
